Liberty Ford Maple Heights

My experience at Liberty Ford of Maple Heights was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The dealership itself has a confusing layout, and when you walk in, there’s no one available to gree extremely disappointing from start to finish. The dealership itself has a confusing layout, and when you walk in, there’s no one available to greet or direct you. We had to find our own way to a sales desk just to get started. We had an appointment with Mikal, but no one could locate him when we arrived. We were simply pointed toward the vehicle and told to look at it on our own. When Mikal finally came over, the information he gave us in person completely contradicted what he told us on the phone. We specifically asked ahead of time if the vehicle was Kia Certified, since the listing clearly showed the certified logo. Mikal confirmed over the phone that it was. However, once we arrived, he told us it was not certified and instead tried to sell us a $3,000 warranty, claiming it was “better” than certified. That kind of bait-and-switch approach is unacceptable. Additionally, I had emailed him the day prior with questions about pricing and the listing. He never responded, and when we met in person, he openly admitted he doesn’t check his email and that his sales manager handles it instead. After about a 5–6 minute conversation, Mikal brought us to a desk, handed us off to the sales manager, and completely disappeared. No follow-up, no professionalism, not even a goodbye. The only positive part of the experience was Jonathan, the sales manager, who at least took the time to walk through the numbers and warranty options. While we ultimately couldn’t make a deal, he did seem to genuinely care—he even shook our hands and thanked us for coming in, which was more than we received from Mikal. Overall, this was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this dealership, and I would especially not recommend working with Mikal. More

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Gabe and David where very helpful and patient with me.
