He remembered my past appointment particulars and was forward thinking in additional items that could be done to compliment yet not duplicate later work that was needed. He facilitated additional part orders for items not in stock and kept in communication with me upon their arrival and installed them personally. I stopped in to ask about my low coolant alarm and Devan Petit was at the service desk. He immediately went out with me to my cat and checked it out. There’s a reason this dealership averages 2. 5 stars. Good luck getting any reliable help from the service department. We’ve had ongoing issues with our Tiguan, and while Volkswagens aren’t exactly known for being the most dependable vehicles, the experience becomes much worse when combined with a dealership that lacks accountability, responsiveness, and basic customer care. We’ve already dealt with major engine issues that had to be repaired under warranty — easily the worst of our ownership experience. Even after that, we continued reporting a clunking noise from the front end, which had been noted before. When we finally brought the vehicle back to have that addressed, we were told we’d have to pay a $200 diagnostic fee if the technician couldn’t find anything wrong. That made absolutely no sense given the extensive warranty work already on record and the clear pattern of issues we’ve had. Needless to say, I won’t be bringing my vehicle back here again. More
Scheduled a service appointment on line for an oil change and fluid replacement. I had used Lea VW for service for my 2016 Tiguan before and had always found the service department to be very friendly and re and fluid replacement. Last couple of years I used a non-dealer service company and I had not been happy with how my car was serviced. Unfortunately; things must have significantly changed with the Lea VW Service Department. I got to my appointment 15 minutes early and had a list of some concerns that I wanted to ask about. The guy immediately started asking questions about warranties and seemed to not understand that I made an appointment for specific service on line. I asked him if he could see my name in the computer for my scheduled appointment? He never responded to me about what service my car was scheduled for. He raised his voice and became rude with me, saying I was raising my voice; when he was speaking loudly with me and calling me rude! I again asked if he could see my appointment in the computer and tell me what service it was saying I had scheduled. Again he raised his voice, so I asked him if I could see a manager; and that I was not happy with how he was treating me. He walks away and comes back saying there was no manager to talk to me and again was raising his voice and being rude. At that point, it didn’t seem like he was ever going to tell me what his computer was saying about the scheduled service. I told him to cancel my appointment and left. If that is how every service customer at Lia VW in Enfield CT is greeted and treated; I would not recommend them to anyone. More
