We are sorry you feel this way. Please understand that at no point were you told you would have to pay $200. It was explained to you that, due to the very intermittent nature of the issue you described, a diagnostic fee might apply only if the concern was unrelated to warranty coverage. Every concern you have had with your vehicle to date has been fully covered under your Volkswagen warranty. Any issues your vehicle has experienced have been independent of one another, and each has been properly addressed. We make it a point to be transparent with all our customers by clearly explaining potential costs and warranty coverage in advance. We regret that this situation has caused any frustration, but please know our goal has always been to ensure your vehicle is properly cared for. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

After reviewing your visit, our records show that a manager did attempt to reach out to you following your appointment to discuss your concerns further. Your vehicle was scheduled for a routine oil change; however, when you arrived, you requested that we address several additional concerns that would be outside the scope of an oil change appointment. When additional items such as a cooling system or other diagnostic concerns are added, there is a diagnosis fee associated, as these services require technician time to inspect and determine the cause of any issues. Our goal is always to provide transparent communication and professional service.
