Good,Honest People Still Exist I wrote about buying a car on 02/12/16. The deal went horribly. I left thinking I had features in the car I didn't have. I ended up in the hospital ov I wrote about buying a car on 02/12/16. The deal went horribly. I left thinking I had features in the car I didn't have. I ended up in the hospital over the weekend due to Cancer n the stress of that day. I returned to the dealership on Monday. I met with Thomas Burns and another person. They sat down with us n we talked about everything. Mr. Thomas Burns upgraded the car. He gave me every feature I originally thought I bought. He walked me through every step n taught me how to use the features. I left so Happy. I feel they're still Good ppl on this earth. The car is a Valentine's gift. My soon to be husband has been watching my health decline n wanted to see me In a good car with all the features that make life easier n Happy for me. I now navigate anywhere I need to go. I use the mirrors that show me the blind spots. I don't even want to rush home. I sit in the car n listen to music from my IPhone. I never thought they were going to do this n not charge me a Penny. Everyday I feel worst and a lot of Pain but when I'm in this car singing from Spanish Love songs to Rap, forget my pain n worries. Since my Parents are from Puerto Rico n I grew up in an African American Community n I spent most my life in NYC. Now I've been up here some twenty years. After I told him I grew up in the Projects in Brooklyn, New York. Then when he plugged in my phone and country music was ok my phone ( Don't Laugh At Me) he looked at me n asked," you listen to Country Music???". I laughed n said oh Yeah. From the Projects in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn to Country Music. I still see the look on his face. You see I've had a rough life n not too many kind ppl along my way. I'm so Happy. I feel someone cared and money was not the objective here. I will definitely recommend shopping here. Thank You, Mr. Thomas Burns. He told me I should just have is one worry and that's f Fighting Breast Cancer n scarscoidosis. I'm taking his advice. I'm not worrying about anything. Yesterday after I left Happy in my new car, I got home to the news that a childhood friend just lost his battle with cancer. I may not win my fight n that's o.k. I just want others to help me to be free to focus on my fight. Mr. Burns did that for me. It's called Honest Business and that's the Best Business. Sincerely, Linda and Steven More

My salesperson for all three purchases was Rob Dawes. Rob is professional, trustworthy and honest in addition to being very knowledgeable. Rob makes the entire purchase process worry free. Rob takes the time to explain all of the features of your new car and even sets up your bluetooth for you. As I leave the dealership in my new car I feel confident and happy with my new vehicle. Experience went from bad to worse When we first arrived on the lot and asked to see the Odyssey trim levels we were looking for, the salesperson did not know the difference between the When we first arrived on the lot and asked to see the Odyssey trim levels we were looking for, the salesperson did not know the difference between the trim levels, and - when showing us one of the vans - clearly did not know the features. We thought this was a poor first impression, but came back the next day to negotiate pricing. The new salesperson was extremely pushy, did not listen to me, and I had to "stop" him several times from completing the sale, when I made it clear up front that I was not ready to commit just yet. Although other Honda dealerships expected a lot less, he required me to leave a $7000 deposit (refundable) just to hold the van that we were considering. We wound up purchasing our new Odyssey from another dealership, and things got even worse when I came back to Lia. One of the managers angrily scolded me for not buying the car when I politely asked for my refund, and told me to wait. A credit card transaction that should've taken 5 minutes took over an hour, and only because I followed up with the staff a few times to ask what was taking so long. At one point, the manager sneered at me and commented, "Since you took so much of our time, you're just going to have to wait." At that point I spoke up and told him that not only was the customer service horrible, I specifically told the salesperson NOT to prep this van or go forward with the sale. He didn't listen to me, and now I was being reprimanded for his poor salesmanship. Even after this, it still took another 20 minutes to finish my credit card refund. I would not send anyone that I care about to Lia Honda, and would strongly suggest other local Honda dealerships instead. More

A huge thanks to Rob Dawes, our salesman, for superb customer service, and to his fellow associate, Fred, for his expertise in the finance department. Rob immediately put us at ease and made this an easy buying experience. Rob was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor he kept us laughing throughout the entire process. Rob gave us a great price including the several upgraded extras we wanted. Our new car was ready to be picked up two days later. When we picked up the car Rob went above & beyond by also personally offering to help us set up the blue tooth and electronic settings in the new car once we get new smart phones. More

I recently purchased a new Accord, and my conversations with Lia personnel led me to believe that the feature I most wanted was included in the package that I ordered. When I picked up the car, I immediately noticed that it did not have the feature that I was expecting. The salesman and an Assistant Manager had two comments/suggestions. The first was that I trade in my brand new 2016 Accord, which was now a used car and worth less than when I had picked it up. I could then write another check to Lia to get a more expensive model with the feature that I thought I had already purchased. Their second suggestion was related to the fact that my wife had been talking to another manager about purchasing a 2016 Civic. I was advised that I could purchase a special package for the new Civic and that my wife and I could then swap cars. I sent a detailed two-page letter to Lia two weeks ago to express my frustration. I have not yet even received a form letter in which Lia personnel pretend to care. As a result of dealing with Lia, I now have a car that does not meet my core needs or expectations for a new vehicle. Suffice to say that my experience with Lia was profoundly disappointing. More
