It was a new experience for us to go into a car dealership and not being accosted by salespeople immediately upon entering the lot. When you walk in the door of Lexus of Valencia, a receptionist asks you if you need assistance and directs you appropriately. Our salesman, Ty, was friendly and low-key - - never pushy or "hard-sell." He kept in contact with us throughout the transaction, but we never felt pressured. More

I had a 2007 Lexus GS350 that my wife and I decided to get rid of so that we could get an SUV that would be a better fit for our active lifestyle. We like to kayak and take our bicycles all over Southern California, something we could not do (easily) with a car. We looked at all the SUVs in the $35-50K range. Although there were SUVs that I liked the styling better, the Lexus RX350 represented the best balance of fit, form, utility and function. Two things pushed us over the edge to get the Lexus. One was the fact that in it's class, the RX350 gets the best gas mileage. Now where you generally do not get the highway rated amount listed on the window sticker in other than the best of conditions, I'd rather get a few less miles per gallon than the stated 25 listed on the window sticker than a few less than the 21 mpg I saw on so many of the other stickers. As gas continues it's meteoric rise, gas consumption was a huge concern to us, not only now, but on the other end when we try to sell this vehicle. If gas is $7-8 or more a gallon then, we will own an expensive paperweight. The other factor in purchasing another Lexus was the whole vaunted Lexus experience. Nobody does it better. From the loaner cars you are provided when you leave your car for service to the car washes you get every time you bring your car in, nobody pampers their customers better than Lexus. Having had miserable experiences with other car makers, (are you listening Jeep/Chrysler???), finding a place that treated me properly was a large factor in my buying my first Lexus. My sales person was John Perkins. He's a charming, easygoing guy who defies all the stereotypes one sometimes has of car salesmen. I never felt high pressured to do anything I didn't want to do. The whole experience was about as pleasant as negotiating for a new car can be. He isn't just some random guy who I bought a new car from and will never talk to again, my wife and I now consider him our friend. Because we had to have some things installed on our car and didn't want to sit around the dealership, we went home. Mr. Perkins told us that he'd deliver our car to our home when it was done. Wow. Nice touch. Even though it was close to time for him to get off, he patiently sat in our driveway going over all of our cars endless features. I highly recommend anyone wishing to buy a Lexus from this dealership, to consider buying it from Mr. Perkins. He's a decent guy and will treat you right. Our Finance guy, Tim Kinzie was also a pleasure to work with. To me, this part of buying a new car is the most unpleasant. This is generally where dealerships try to increase their profit margin by trying to get you to buy grossly over priced add-ons (undercoating, etc.) that you almost never need or can get cheaper elsewhere. He explained our options, but there was no high pressure effort to coerce us into purchasing anything we didn't want to purchase. The second reason we went with Lexus was our service writer Scott Melville. For the 4 years we owned our other Lexus he was our service writer and over the years became a good friend. I always looked forward to coming in and getting to talk to him. He's friendly, competent and bent over backwards to assist us with a couple of issues, that for awhile, seemed to defy solution. He represents Lexus well and he and the way he treats his customers is one of the biggest reasons why we came back and bought another car from this dealership. Lexus' is known for it's quality vehicles (just look at Consumer Reports) so I don't need to sell anyone on that brands value, but with all your choices of dealerships to choose from, I can't recommend Lexus of Valencia highly enough. Everyone I met from the dealership's General Manager Luther White to Service Manager Derek Hindigian, to service writer Scott Melville and our salesman John Perkins, they were all fully committed to the Lexus' well deserved reputation for customer service. I highly recommend Lexus of Valencia. More

Our Client Services Representative, Ty Sylvester, was very nice, knowledgeable and sincere in his desire to help us with our Lexus purchase. They say excellent service starts and the top, and Luther, the General Manager, went out of his way to personally make sure that we were getting the level of service that we needed and we were very impressed with him as well. In short, Lexus of Valencia gave us a great price, Ty couldn't have been friendlier, and the entire buying process was simple, fast and enjoyable. More
