When my wife and I decided to replace our 2010 Prius. we contacted several Honda and dealers about their hybrids. They either didn’t have the car we wanted or they insisted they couldn’t budge on MSRP wh we contacted several Honda and dealers about their hybrids. They either didn’t have the car we wanted or they insisted they couldn’t budge on MSRP while including a host of costly dealer add-ons we didn’t want. In frustration, I commented that that their 'deals' were pushing me into Lexus country. On a whim, I checked online for certified late model Lexus hybrids and came across a low mileage, certified 2024 UX250h at Lexus of Valencia. The team there - Paul and David, their sales manager Zack, dealership manager Mitch and finance Manager Simon - couldn’t have been nicer. They were friendly, professional, and gave us a great price and they didn’t apply the ‘car guy’ full court press. They took the Prius as trade-in, again at a very fair price. In the past 4 decades we’ve purchased a handful of new and used dealer cars and this was by far our best experience. We’re planning on keeping the Lexus a long time but, when it’s time for a change, our first stop will be Lexus of Valencia. More

I'm not certain if I would recommend this dealership -- there are several reasons for this: Let me start first by saying I got a good price on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X even though on the websi there are several reasons for this: Let me start first by saying I got a good price on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X even though on the website it was listed at over $26,000 but in the email I received a price for $3000.00 less. The dealership honored the lower price shown. However, there was a condition to honoring that price. In order for me to keep that lower price, I had to purchase the $1200.00 lifetime synthetic oil change and the $995.00 Perma Plate protectant. This bothered me and it still leaves me with an uneasy feeling about how this dealership operates. This is a car I wanted and didn't want to risk loosing it to someone else -- so I accepted the conditions under duress, considering I drove forty miles to see the car. I shared my discontent with the salesman but he insisted that management would raise the price if I don't accept the current offer. When I got home I went to the dealerships website to fill our those comment forms. I submitted a total of three addressed to management and I didn't get one response, even after telling the salesman who sold me the car and another sales person who reached out to me a day later to sell me the same car. Apparently emails are sent after a saleman makes a sale -- thinking it was a genuine salesperson I responded with how I felt in this review. I told him I replied to it and he told me he didn't read it. My sense is nobody reads those comment submissions since I haven't received a response yet. I will also write a letter to the corporate office to see if this is Standard Operating procedures to have to buy the oil change and perma plate. So, I'm indecisive about recommending this dealership considering I now have higher payments because I had to buy the $1200 lifelong synthetic oil change and $995 for perma plate which raised my taxes and gave me a higher payment. To make matters worse, because my car is not a Lexus, I didn't qualify for an option buy back offer. How do I even know they applied the Perma Plate!?! Under the circumstances, I don't fault the salesperson, I find fault in the Corporation and its operations. More
