Worth the trip for excellent service and a great car! After having a horrible experience at a Lexus dealer in Colorado, I needed to find a replacement vehicle. I was interested in a 2012 or 2013 IS25 After having a horrible experience at a Lexus dealer in Colorado, I needed to find a replacement vehicle. I was interested in a 2012 or 2013 IS250, which can be difficult to find. I live in Denver, and was unable to find this car in Colorado, so decided to look at the Santa Fe Lexus website. They had the car we wanted, but was it worth the risk to go to NM to obtain a car? I can now say that, indeed, it was well worth the trip! I had read reviews of salespeople at the dealership and it appeared that many had good experiences with Barry Handelsman. So I called Barry and inquired about the car and he was most helpful with answering questions. I then called the next day and learned that it was Barry's day off, but even so, that he was willing to come in and work with me personally, despite having to rearrange his day. I took the leap of faith and hopped a quick one hour flight to Santa Fe. Barry's excellent customer service even extended to picking me up at the airport! He was very helpful and the car was in great shape, which had been a concern. The negotiation process was straightforward, and I never felt pressured or misled. James Curvin in Finance was thorough, helpful and professional and the GM was welcoming and gracious. So if you can't find what you need in Colorado, you might consider making an excursion to Santa Fe! It was a pleasant 5 hour trip back in my new car, and it was an opportune time to check everything out. Barry called the next day to ensure I got home safely, and then following up with an additional call and email later to ensure all was right and that the car met our needs. Got AAA to jump start my battery, drov I arrived in Santa Fe the day before & when ready to go sight seeing the next day my 2010 RX350 wouldn't start! Got AAA to jump start my battery, drove to Lexus of Santa Fe & they took my car right away, gave me a loaner & within 2 hours my car was washed & ready for me!
