We dealt with Dave Whelan, he was wonderful to deal with. What a great experience we had with Dave Whelan. He had to look for the car we wanted at other dealerships. Besides Dave, John Desmet the Finance guy went over all of our paperwork with us and Rick Coven spent about an hour with me explaining all,of the features in the car. Dave told us that if we ever had questions oe need to come back for more instruction to give them a call. More
Out of Town Great Experience! Purchased 2013 Lexus RX 350 from Bill Parish. Bill exceeded our expectations. He did not pressure us in any way and worked with us on the phone since we lived in Champaign, IL. We took the short drive to Merrillville and did not have to deal with any toll roads which made it very easy. Bill made sure that the car was off the lot and in the show room for us to view. There were a few door dings on the door which Bill said he would fix for us while we waited! A gentleman was at the dealership from Dent Wizard who immediately went to work on the dings. Within a few short minutes the dings were completely gone - YES GONE! I researched vehicles, dealerships, as well as, sales associates and the finance department. When viewing a vehicle on the net there can be some reservations, but when we arrived and saw the actual vehicle we were pleasantly surprised. We can say without any reservations that Merrillville of Lexus is a fantastic dealership and Bill Parish is the salesman I WOULD RECOMMEND because he was honest and fair. Many times a person can leave a dealership believing that they did not get a great sales negotiation, however, that is not the case here, and Bill has a pristine sales negotiation record. I read many reviews online and what I can say is this, take them with a grain of salt if they are negative. Bill and this dealership went out of their way to make us comfortable during our short wait and the financing experience was effortless. We drove away very, very happy after my husband had a moment with our old Lexus and I pulled him away from the red Lexus sports car in the showroom. We will be back Bill. Thank you for the great experience! (This is our first time dealing with this dealership and we are not related to anyone in this dealership - this is a true purchase experience). More

Over the weekend, while doing some internet searching, I found the color I wanted at the Merrillville location. We were still undecided if we were going to purchase or wait a few months. Dave Whelan greated me, asked me how interested I was, and promised to make a better offer and a painless transaction if we could close the deal by day end. He that he did. He was fair, professional, and a pleasure to work with. My husband was not with me while looking, so we were texting and on the calling each other as Dave and I were negotiating. My husband met me at the dealership and when all was done, said that was the most pleasant car purchase he had experienced. I love my purchase and am even more grateful to know as I return for service it will be a profesional atmosphere. More
Amazing Car, Sales Team, and Finance Team!!! A couple of weeks I went to go get an oil change at the Infiniti dealership that was near the Lexus of Merrillville. I had been in an Infiniti IPL Cou A couple of weeks I went to go get an oil change at the Infiniti dealership that was near the Lexus of Merrillville. I had been in an Infiniti IPL Coupe for about two years. I knew my next car had to be a sedan since my daughter is getting taller and a coupe is not cutting it. As I was driving home I decided to drive in and check out the vehicles they had on the floor. Mind you, I was in an Infiniti Lease that was scheduled to end the following summer. When I got to the dealership I was able to walk the floor without feeling pressured. I spotted one of the new Lexus GS350 F-Sports. Bill Parish was one of the sales consultants working the floor. I told him that I was just looking since I was still in a lease. Even with that, Bill took the time to answer all of my questions. I was surprised to have someone take the time to answer my questions on a Saturday afternoon when I clearly stated I had a year left on a lease! Bill then asked if I wanted to take the car out for a test drive. We took the test drive and when we got back he asked that he could run some numbers to see if he could present me with an offer that would get me out of my lease early. Instead of making me wait around that evening, he said he can take down all of my information and would call me on Monday. Again, I was happy not to feel pressured to stay and do the whole back and forth. I received a call on Monday as promised. Bill presented me with the offer they could give me to move out of my lease. We communicated back and forth that day over text and phone calls. By the end of the day Monday, Bill and I came to an agreement. I told him that I would have a short window to pick up the vehicle on Tuesday since I had my daughter's softball game that evening. Bill did a great job of coordinating everything from his team. I was there less than 2 hours. In that time Bill and John Desmet, in the Finance Department, worked out all of the paperwork details and I had Rick Coven, in the Tech Side, walk me through some of the neat features on the vehicle. Being able to get everything done so quickly allowed me to drive home in a new Lexus and surprise my daughter. She is in love with the new GS! I was on my third Infiniti and was looking to stick with Infiniti for a fourth vehicle. The great work by Bill and the Lexus of Merrillville team made moving into the Lexus family easy! The car was a big drive as well! I live over an hour drive to this dealership, with many other Lexus dealerships closer. I will recommend the Lexus of Merrillville location and team to all of my friends and family. Thanks Lexus of Merrillville Team, especially Bill Parish! More
Bad experience Was looking at a certified Lexus. Sue brought car to us which was on lot. After driving sue said car was not detailed yet. Car had scratch marks and i Was looking at a certified Lexus. Food wrappers inside..etc. sue said car had to be detailed and checked yet as certified vehicles have standards they have to meet. After spending hours there going over price and financing. She said car would be ready in a day or two. Great so I thought. This was late Friday nite. I talked with sue on Saturday about my trade as wanted to come in and get that over with. Sue told me to wait till Monday as car should be ready. But to my shock...sue called me early Monday morning and told me car was sold. WHAT??? Oh but we can find you another one. They sure did it was double miles and more money. Terrible experience More

The business manager John Desmet did everything he could think of to get us the lowest possible interest rate with better warranty coverage. By far the best car buying experience I have had. More
Superb service afters business hours Friday May 29th, I was travelling to Georgia from Bartlett, IL. Unfortunately, I got flat tire on intersection HWY80/HWY65 South. That location was Friday May 29th, I was travelling to Georgia from Bartlett, IL. Unfortunately, I got flat tire on intersection HWY80/HWY65 South. That location was about 10 miles away from Marrillville Lexus location. It was about 5:30 pm when I got flat tire. From my past experience with Road site assistance (it takes at least an hour to get help), I decided to change tire myself and then head towards dealership for tire replacement. I managed to complete my spare tire installation by 5:45 pm, and started driving to Lexus Merrillville. Not knowing how traffic will behave, I decide to call that Lexus location to let them know that I was coming for the service. I arrived at 5:58 pm, and spoke with pre-Owned Manager Willie Haddad and Parts Manager Tony Durdov. They gave me superb service, they replaced my tire which was completely destroyed. To make long story short, at 6:45 pm I was back on the road again with brand new tire. Once again, I would like to say Big Thank You to the above personnel as well as to Auto Technician Valentine and Jesse for after hours service. Without Lexus Merrillville team continuation of my business trip would be impossible, epecially on Friday evening when all places were closed at that time.
