The call center that took our original call to make the first appointment did not tell us that the part that we needed to be installed was not in stock. When we arrived at the dealership (about 45 miles f first appointment did not tell us that the part that we needed to be installed was not in stock. When we arrived at the dealership (about 45 miles from our home) to have the work done they could not do the work since the part was not in stock We rescheduled to have the work done a week later after the dealership had the part in stock. The dealership and Mike Needham did a great job at the rescheduled appointment. Routine servicing at Lexus Jacksonville was excellent. Everyone then and now was very courteous, very knowledgeable. I am very impressed by the sales manager who made sure the price and trade-in were fair. It was not a shell game and no haggling. The salesperson Don Hakker was very knowledgeable, offered sound advice (when asked for), very courteous, and offered unlimited assistance in learning the new features on the2014. He even offered to have my garage door adjusted for the new car. Very impressive. More
Jmar is extremely courteous and sincere in his desire to make sure you are satisfied. He offers excellent advice and while there he made me aware of a very good sales on 2013 models. I have given the above ratings because my experience was very good. My car needed the 30,000 mile service and would take longer than a usual service. Customer Service - As soon as I drove into the parking lot, I was warmly greeted by a valet and asked the purpose of my visit. He then escorted me to the associate's office before driving my car to another location. As an aside, we happened also to meet the Lexus Technology specialist Don Crutch in the parking lot who too greeted us warmly and who was quite engaging. (We weren't there for his service but his interaction with us contributed to our overall impression of the dealership.) Equally by happenstance, we saw our primary service consultant, Larry Berry, who (as always) was personable and friendly. 2. Sale associate - Mario Valdez was the consummate professional -- knowledgeable, prepared, warm, and personable. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with Mario and will request him to work with us in the future. While at the dealership, we were offered refreshments, including pizza. (We were there during the lunch hour.) 3. Car - Mario patiently demonstrated the car's vital features, being sure to ask if we had questions. We never got the impression that he was hurried or harried in any way. (By the way, every time I have spoken with Mario in the past, he has been extremely friendly and helpful.) He even worked with us to get the exact car that we wanted. Obviously, Lexus is a quality brand (this is my third Lexus) but what distinguishes this dealership from most others is its outstanding customer service and its service department that is timely, professional, and proficient in its work.
