I cannot say enough about Mr. Diep, he is a man of honor and integrity. He did everything he could to assist in the purchase of the vehicle to make sure all expectations were met. I wasn’t feeling good, and I let Austin know that early on, yet the financing part of the whole process took at least 2 1/2 hours of sitting around and waiting. And, on a Sunday, when I had to drive a little far to get home, on top of not feeling well, it took way too long. If I recommend this dealer, I will tell others to bring their patience, it’s going to take a long time to purchase your car there. More

It was so hard to give it up but I knew in the long run it wouldn’t fit our family and grandchildren as well as our move to Utah in a few years. We decided to get an SUV. We looked around at a few dealerships. We were trying to find the right color and model that would suit our needs. We didn’t have the best experience with a sales person at StevensCreek Lexus. We felt she was very pushy and we ended up walking out of that deal. I reached out to Fremont Lexus to see what inventory and deals you might have. Fred responded to me. I just want to say that Fred was a sweetheart. I loved his gentle approach. He’s very calm and he honestly tries to work with you. I believe he gave us a great deal and when we asked for a little more for our trade in, he did. I felt like he was being honest and not pushing us. He let us know that we were getting a good deal. I felt safe with him. I really appreciate Fred. He represents Lexus very well. I must say that the financial person didn’t have that same great impression. I felt pushed into buying a service agreement and if we didn’t get it, something bad could happen and this is our only chance to get it; he stated Lexus was very strict about this and he left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt we went from a calm nice experience, where we felt cared for to some pushy salesperson trying to use a fear tactic. When I had bought my GS350. They gave me 2 years free maintenance. I felt like a queen. It helped me believe that yes, Lexus is more expensive then most cars but they treat you so well, give you great benefits and truly take car of you as well as give you a great car. This Lexus finance guy didn’t make me feel that way. He said you get 2 oil changes and that’s it. So you need to buy this other service contact or if anything goes wrong Lexus will charge you, on a return lease if you don’t want to keep the car. He made it sound scary and yucky. That’s not how I remember Lexus treating me before. I like that normally at Lexus I feel special and taken care of. I hope that finance guy can learn how to do that better. Bottom line is....I loved dealing with Fred. He is fantastic! I didn’t love the finance manager person. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone More

Purchase at this dealership at your own risk We went into the dealership looking to purchase a 2019 RX450h and had been dealing with Jenny Haskell who had been super helpful. However, when we we We went into the dealership looking to purchase a 2019 RX450h and had been dealing with Jenny Haskell who had been super helpful. However, when we went into the dealership she asked that we deal with Ben. Ben could not find the vehicle that Jenny and I had emailed about. Apparently, the battery was dead and therefore it was rather difficult to find the vehicle. It took Ben over 4 hours to locate it. We waited the whole time. He kept bringing out different vehicles and we kept telling him that wanted the vehicle that we originally came in for. He was aggravated and finally found it. He then claimed he had an emergency and had to leave right away to which he handed us off to Sonny Alvarez. Although Ben claimed he had to leave right away, we still saw him for the next 2 hours. We ended up purchasing the vehicle, but, we couldn't take it home because when it was getting detailed the engine light came on and the car's battery died. We were at the dealership at 11am and didn't end up leaving until almost 10pm. You read it right. There was no back and forth in the financial department, or any financial issues. What took so long is us waiting in an office for the vehicle to be found, then just waiting for no reason. At the end of the night we got to drive the vehicle home, but were told to bring it in the next day to have the battery replaced. As soon as we got home we obviously turned it off. A little while later we wanted to show the kids and when we went to turn it back on it was completely dead. What a disappointment. The next day I had to get the new vehicle "jumped" to take it into the service center. Once I got to the service center I was told that they would replace the battery I would get a loaner. The process of getting a loaner took over 2 hours. Nobody brought out my loaner vehicle and I kept asking how long would it be and I kept getting the answer that it would be a few minutes. That turned to a couple of hours. I was advised that the vehicle would be done that day and that I would get a text with an update. Never received anything and I called towards the end of the day to ask the status and I was told that in reality it would be finished the next day. We were also told that they didn't replace the battery, but, that they were trying to figure out what was causing the battery to die and had a serious of codes to decipher and they would only be "fixing" the battery. Seriously. We then decided that we didn't want the vehicle since we didn't feel that it was going to be reliable anymore. And this is a brand new vehicle. The higher ups then offered to "make it right". After hours at the dealership AGAIN - we ended up getting another vehicle that was similar to the one that I had originally purchased. I say similar, because it wasn't completely loaded like the original one I had purchased and it was also a different color since they didn't have the color I originally had wanted. We wasted hours on the day that we purchased the vehicle. We also wasted hours on the day where we came to "pick up" our original car and then ended up with another one. Because the vehicle that we ended up "trading" with wasn't as loaded as the original faulty one I had to bring the "consolation car" back to the service center to get the add ons put on to be the equal of the vehicle I had purchased. So here we go, another day without my new vehicle and I was stuck driving a loaner. Even though I purchased my vehicle on Wednesday 02/20, I didn't get full possession of it until Tuesday 02/26 once everything was installed and all parts were in. I've previously purchased 2 vehicles at Lexus of Pleasanton (GX460 and a IS200T) and never had any issues such as the ones that I have now encountered with the purchase of this vehicle. I would not return Magnussen Lexus of Fremont for any future Lexus purchases. Even though Andy and Gabriel tried to make things right at the very end, the entire thing was just a hassle that we shouldn't have had to deal with. I mean it wasn't like we were purchasing a used vehicle or had any financial issues. Purchase here at your own risk. More
