Lexus of Chattanooga

I was assigned Ryan Kennedy as my service consultant at Lexus of Chattanooga. They had my vehicle for 4 days before they finally updated me on the issue with my vehicle. I attempted to contact Mr. Kennedy Lexus of Chattanooga. They had my vehicle for 4 days before they finally updated me on the issue with my vehicle. I attempted to contact Mr. Kennedy several times and had to speak to a female that could not give me any information about my vehicle. Mr. Kennedy was supposed to get me a loaner vehicle for this time period and as stated I never could get him to call me back until he finally contacted me to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle and it was not able to be repaired due to the repair cost was 3 times the value on the vehicle. I attempted to work with a salesperson to purchase a new vehicle but they could not get one on the lot for 2 months and would not assist in providing temporary transportation for that timeframe. Needless to say, I’m going to Georgia to get my new Lexus and will be having it serviced anywhere other than Lexus of Chattanooga which is only 15 minutes from my home. Very sad because there are some fantastic staff who do work there. More

One thing that could have been handled better was the extra warranties. We are new to Lexus and had no idea about what was about to be offered right before we wrote our check. We would have liked to have 30 days to decide if we wanted to purchase any of the additional warranties or prepaid maintenance. Or been told about them earlier in the process so we could evaluate while deciding on a purchase. More

I've bought several cars over my years, and my recent trade transaction at Lexus of Chattanooga was an example of how this business should be done. Robbie Bales did a great job of allowing me to inspect various cars on my own without hovering.  He was very transparent with answers to all my questions about various models, options, numbers, and terms of the sale.  Absolutely no pressure, just there to assist me to find the right car and terms. During the short periods where we were waiting, he was professional and personable. Definitely an asset to the business. Aaron Schreiner demonstrated all of the features and tech with my car. He is articulate, great at moving topic to topic, and answers questions succinctly.  Very patient. He met me at my level of understanding and has excellent product knowledge. This is the guy every software company should have to train people on new products. Josiah Sadek's work in the finance office was quick and efficient. He answered all of my questions, and I was never pressured to buy extra products I didn't want. I was in and out quickly without feeling trapped to hear a two hour-long explanation about every extended warranty! Overall, this is not the stereotypical dealership or car buying experience.
