Lexus of Bellevue responded

Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing truthful in this complaint or the numerous reviews this party has posted on the internet, other than we had the misfortune of having this vehicle towed into our shop. It is a “salvage” vehicle that has been patched back together rather poorly and came from a salvage auction. It has the wrong refrigerant in its A/C system consequently damaging the compressor and putting the vehicle into “limp” mode. We diagnosed the problem precisely and verified that the inverter system is fine. The customer took two weeks complaining over the diagnosis while driving our free brand new Lexus loaner. When the car was towed out to the Toyota dealership the battery was so dead that all the codes reset and the vehicle was temporarily drivable. Lexus of Seattle subsequently diagnosed the exact same diagnosis as us. After the manufacturer denied repairs both here and at Seattle, Lexus gave in and agreed to replace the inverter under the threat of lawsuit hassle but noted that indeed the inverter is not defective. Additionally if the A/C system has not been repaired the car is going to go back into “limp” mode in the future. The customer did not pay for any gas or loaner charges even though they delayed the return of our loaner car for two weeks. Lexus of Bellevue
