Finally got an "out the door" price based on the advertised price that eventually included more than $3,000 in bogus, unadvertised, dealer fees. Paul was of no help- only offered I should look for a cheaper car. A few days later the price of the car was reduced $500. I submitted an online purchase agreement Sunday morning (4/12/2026- using their Lexus Monogram program) that came back with an out the door price that made no mention of the extra $3,000 in dealer charges. I fully intended to buy the car at the price Lexus of Santa Monica provided on-line. Will (Rivera?) some kind of a manger, then called me this morning and said the extra, advertised charges are made by ALL Lexus dealers. I protested and said that wasn't true. I got a quote from Lexus of Riverside and there were no unadvertised, extra dealer charges. Will then said, and because of my threatening to leave a bad review, they would not sell me the car. Well, here is that bad review Will. Will also told me my Costco Auto Buying Service number was no good, as Costco's participation only applies to new cars. That is a lie as well, Costco's Auto Buying program applies to pre-owned cars as well. I've been on this planet 65 years- just when I think mankind can't sink any lower comes Paul and Will of Lexus of Santa Monica. God help us. More
Bought a 2020 Lexus RX350 from them in December 2025. Staff seemed to be friendly but once the purchase was completed....They all Ghosted me! Don't expect any customer service from this dealer. Given lots of attention and calls when considering purchase then, once paperwork is signed, zero follow up. Customer service is disappointing, felt sucker punched in gut having just paid a huge amount for my car, and overall incredibly frustrating experience. Bought brand new 2024RX+ in first week of May, 2024. Paid full price plus additional $3k dealership required paint and interior protection options. Signed paperwork with 4 miles on it. Had ahipped to Oregon and arrived with 56 miles on it and a door ding type of dent on front passenger side. Transport driver provided pic of car with dent from pick up at dealership. I called immediately and spoke to Naz the sales person who reassured me that they would take care of it. No contact from them for 6 weeks! I called and left messages, tried to contact managers by phone and email…no response. 2 months in I call, Naz answers. Told to get estimate and let them now how much and they will take care of it. I do that. EST is $208. Again radio silence! Another month goes by and I get Naz on phone. She says that her manager won’t let them pay for the whole amount. WHAT!!! That they will pay for half of the amount and I will need to file a report with the transit company so that they learn to be more responsible when picking up car and doing inspection. 😳 😡 as if I haven’t been patient enough or put in enough effort getting them to do anything!!! So not worth the frustration! EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE….especially by MANAGERS!!! To this day, I have received $0 reimbursement. While I do love my Lexus, and I swear by our LEXUS Dealership in Eugene, I would not work with Santa Monica Lexus again. More

Enrique Carvajal was the most amazing sales consultive I have ever had the pleaser to deal with. Enrique treats you like he's selling a car to his Mother. This dealership is awful. My car’s paint was damaged by Lexus Santa Monica during a service. They were forced to repair it due to their negligence. They did a botched job! In 2012 it was time for me to get a new car. I wanted another SUV and decided to look at the Lexus RX. The salesperson who helped us at Lexus Santa Monica was Enrique Carvajal. He was the perfect pers another SUV and decided to look at the Lexus RX. The salesperson who helped us at Lexus Santa Monica was Enrique Carvajal. He was the perfect person for me and my husband. My husband is adamant when he tells car sales people that he doesn’t want to be bothered with constant phone calls and that when we were ready to purchase a car we would let him know. Enrique was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and he was not aggressive or pushy. I have a hard time making decisions and Enrique was very patient with me and made me feel very welcome when I came back several times to test drive the car and learn about all the features. I ended up buying the car and we feel that he got us the best deal possible. Just last week it was time for another new car and I decided to check out the new 2021 Lexus RX as well as various other SUVs. Again I made sure to see Enrique and once again, he was amazing. He showed me and my husband different models and we felt very comfortable with him and trusted him. I went back several times and test drove the different cars. This time, since the technology had changed so much, I had to have him go over everything with me many times before making my final decision. He was very helpful and patient. When it was time to buy the car, Enrique had 2 cars at the dealership that pretty much met my color choices and the packages that I wanted. He worked very hard to make sure we got the best deal possible. My husband and I are very happy with the outcome. He even helped me sync my car to our garage door. I feel like I have a new friend. Was given the contract again and shame On me did t see they had manipulated an additional 2k into deal using rebate and wanting 2k. My bad I signed it. I will pay it but be very careful with this stealership. Tried to contact the sales manager that made the deal. He didn’t speak to me transferred me to to the finance guy. Done with this place. Don’t want to talk about it even to explain. Will pay what I owe but will never refer or would want anyone to go through this. Terrible feeling. I also would not work with sales person Tracey Tackett. Will waste your time. Brought back flashbacks of old days slick sales guy that doesn’t listen to you. Especially do t make a drive for a deal here. I don’t believe you will end up with what you want. Plenty of other dealers to take your money without the worry of a cal two months later . More
