I have experienced one of the worst interactions I have had in a long time. I must have misunderstood my service advisor Kylea D. when she told me "not to worry" about the state inspection during my Friday had in a long time. I must have misunderstood my service advisor Kylea D. when she told me "not to worry" about the state inspection during my Friday evening appointment. After not hearing back, I called her directly and right away Kylea D. told ME I was "being rude for insinuating she did not call me back bc she was short staffed”. When I tried to focus on my concern which was to clarify how I missed my state inspection being denied she became heated, defensive and extremely unpleasant very quickly. NO ONE should be mistreated because they are asking questions to clarify the situation. When I pressed her for answers to my windshield and state inspection questions she told me I would hear from her manager Adrian and before hanging up on me made a threatening comment! She has been working at Leith Acura for years and is much too experienced to react this way. I am hurt and shocked that I would be spoken to like this after all my years coming to Leith Acura. I tried to contact the service manager Adrian directly by phone and when unable to I went to the service center. While I was waiting in the hallway Kylea came out form the back and asked me “what are you doing at my place of work causing a scene” - I told her i was coming to my service center to get info on why i was declined a state inspection and to report my customer service experience. She then told me to "get away from her booth." I moved down the hallway and after waiting some time for Adrian I was approached and told "Adrian is too busy to see me bc of something that happened last week." I told Michael I was uncomfortable leaving after the experience I had and wanted to speak to Adrian's boss and Michael told me he also was unavailable to see me. SO I have now had my time wasted, mistreated and completely embarrassed in ACURA service center and left with no way of telling my experience. I left unsure of what to do about getting my car inspected and confused all around at how I should now feel. Acura service is a department and a place of service. How uncomfortable I now feel thinking about returning in the future. I can't believe Acura would ignore such a terrible customer experience. Information update - Should I have been denied an inspection for my 100% clear windshield? I called the manufacturer of the UV film and the territory manager was confused as to why the mechanic would be declining my inspection and wonders if they need better training and continuing education on products available to consumers. UV filters are healthy and supported by the American Cancer Society. If Acura or Leith Acura specifically does not want to complete state inspections then do not offer them. I am happy to take my business elsewhere which will include leasing elsewhere and having them serviced from some one who can answer questions with out getting hostile. More

Douglas was great to work with. He listened carefully to our needs and worked with us to find exactly what we wanted. The layout was good. The facility is very clean and organized. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.
