"I'll LIE for you...not TO you of course..." We went to just look at cars at Milo Gordon. The sales man came out and we told him that we were just burning some time looking as we knew our credit We went to just look at cars at Milo Gordon. Not taking "no" for an answer, the dealer (mike, who was painfully obvious as the newbie) went and got the finance guys wife. She came out in a stained white jacket and told us how their financial world was totally upside down too. How they had their vehicles repo'd, but due to the silver tongued husband (greg...you'll recognize him by his girth) lied his way out of it and he could use his ability to lie his xxx off to our benefit. After promising that they wouldn't do a hard inquiry on our credit (to preserve the little we have left), I get a ding from my credit monitoring service...thanks. Then Ole Greg starts to tell us how long he's been doing this and that he will lie and hide things here and there in order to get us financed. Red Flag? We agreed to see what he could do by offering both of our vehicles as trade on 2 of theirs. The process took weeks. Mike was useless in providing info when we called. I would ask simple questions like, "how much is this car." The answer I got is that it will depend on the bank! I asked if the bank owned their cars and they said no...red flag?! I then asked what they valued my trade as. They gave me a number 2-thousand under bluebook. I brought this up to Mike. He says, "well we use black book". So, I looked it up on black book...MORE THAN 2-THOUSAND undervalued by the dealership now. I was then told if I give them $500 dollars they can work the deal. "Can you give me details on the deals you've worked out so I'm just not out 500?" Nope... Mike is incompetent, Greg lies to everyone...except you of course...if you need financing, stay away! Unless you like being made to feel that you want to find these gentlemen in a dark alley one night... More
