I found a 2016 Kia Sportage online that Legacy Ford had listed. We lived 5 hours away in the Dallas area, but I flew to Houston and drove out to the dealership at Rosenberg based on the representations the listed. We lived 5 hours away in the Dallas area, but I flew to Houston and drove out to the dealership at Rosenberg based on the representations the used car salesman, Joe, gave me about the car's condition. They do something like a "160 point front to rear check" when the car is traded in by the previous owner, everything is serviced (new oil, new filters, tires checked, everything works, etc). Well to make a long story short, I made the mistake of actually trusting a used car salesman (yeah, I know... I should know better). It turns out, they didn't really check jack on that car. I asked specifically about the condition of all the car's tires, and Joe told me they all had plenty of tread on them (he even sent me a pic of just ONE of them that looked fine), but when I get to the dealership right before they close, I see the two back tires are COMPLETELY bald, and there is nothing they will do about it. Then, despite my better judgment, I purchase the car anyway (because I came all that way and needed replacement transportation for my daughter immediately after she wrecked her prior car) and when I get to Lubbock a day later with the vehicle, I put down the passenger side windows for the first time and then neither of them will roll back up. Some '160 blah blah blah front to rear point check," huh!? Anyway, we call Joe, tell him what happens, he assures us they don't sell cars that way and "we don't do business that way", and that they'll pay for the repair since I'm now way too far away with the car to bring it back to the dealership. 3 weeks later, I'm still waiting for the check after the car repair shop provided Joe with the cost... as they requested. MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T BUY A USED CAR FROM LEGACY FORD OF ROSENBERG OR JOE! I'm not sure if this is just because of a bad apple salesperson like Joe, or if it's Legacy Ford's management itself, but my wife and I both texted Joe with our experience after the fact... and checked on the status of receiving the repair check, and just crickets from Joe. We're out of sight for Joe, so I guess out of mind as well. More
bought new truck. they added on 2495.00 for extra items to the truck.another 995.00 for paint sealant. this was all done at finance. Ask for a list of items and notice they added on 2495.00 for extra items to the truck.another 995.00 for paint sealant. this was all done at finance. Ask for a list of items and noticed two items were not on the truck from the list. asked about it and they said they didn't do that anymore a day after we bought it. Did not say those items were off the list which they gave me. All this should have been on the window of the truck probably would have went somewhere else.No one there seems to want to deal with this problem.Take your business elsewhere. If you sell someone something then deliver it More
The people at Legacy Ford are dishonest and shady. I received what I thought was an offer from Capital One with their name on it. Once they got my husband and I in the doors they had us pick out vehicles then showed us the financial paperwork having us believe we had a deal. We were at their dealership from 11am till 7pm. It was all a hoax. They made promises they could not keep. More

We called ahead & drove 1. 5 hours for a test drive , then had to wait 1 hour for the vehicle to be prepped (detailed) for the test drive , someone broke the drivers side mirror 5 hours for a test drive , then had to wait 1 hour for the vehicle to be prepped (detailed) for the test drive , someone broke the drivers side mirror during the wash & detail (had to test drive with broken mirror) after the test drive I paid extra to have it ''Detailed'' , after driving it home we noticed that there were areas that clearly had not been touched , or cleaned at all ! They ''did not want to add my husbands name'' to our title (without him being present) this vehicle was a ''Christmas Gift'' and I didn't want him to know about it I paid cash so there would be no bank involvement. (one would think , It's my title & I can put who ever I want on it ? Right ?) a few days after Christmas we called Dawn Chappelle (who handles the titles & she told us to come down to Rosenberg & they would ''correct & amend'' and add my husband to the Title , then she told us they would send it to (our home state) of Wisconsin , in addition , we had to include the form (witch we had) for his ''Handy cap license plates'' so , after another 1.5 hour drive to Rosenberg we asked for the paperwork & they could not find it ! it seems they took it upon themselves to mail the title to Wisconsin without the corrections , or , the proper handicap form either ! after getting back to Wisconsin we called the DMV they emailed us the (dealer only link) we forwarded it to them so that they could file the proper DMV correction papers with the state of Wisconsin. I called Dawn Chappelle ''who handles all the titling'' at Rosenberg Ford and asked her to simply fill in the name & email it back to the Wisconsin DMV this was well before lunch (11 AM) and would only take a few minutes to correct the mistakes they made (witch they agreed to) I called at 4 PM to follow up on the progress and found she had left for the day at NOON ! *without so much as a (I'm handing this off to another responsible employee) who can finish the simple task of adding your name to the title I also asked that she call me -or- email me with an update on the status of the correction on the title , ''That Never Happened Either'' In addition my husband called as well to speak to Patrick Sexton (the general manager) about this ''POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUE'' & Lax employee attitude about performing simple customer service duty's ! But he had left for the day as well ! *One might think if you had just ''Spent 30 Grand'' on a vehicle things might go ''somewhat smoothly'' !! I am very sure this is not the only issue(s) they have , either (based on other complaints) I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS DEALER TO ANY ONE , FOR ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER ! *In closing , you folks have left a lasting impression on us , that has earned you that jacket you folks deserve. It’s imposible to have a bad experience here. They go above and beyond and we now have two vehicles we’ve purchased from here in the past few months. They are 100% dedicated to the customer. Sayi They go above and beyond and we now have two vehicles we’ve purchased from here in the past few months. They are 100% dedicated to the customer. Saying goodbye to every other dealership for good. We drive over an hour just to work with their team! Thanks again Legacy Ford and thanks Sam Guiterriez. Sam has picked the perfect vehicle for our family every time on the first try. I’ve used their service center as well and they are EXTREMELY efficient. Thanks again Legacy Ford. More
