When I challenge the salesperson on this, the salesperson got angry with me and started arguing with me how they are required to add this market adjustment. He was extremely irate and it felt like he was ready to start swearing at me. Any dealership who adds on a market adjustment is just plain greedy. They're taking advantage of their customers and a crappy situation. They should be ready for certain customers to be irate with them or to be frustrated by the situation at minimum. Attacking those potential customers just shows you what kind of business they are. They're only looking at their potential customers is "marks". Or in other words money bags to be exploited. Dealerships have no real value in existing in the modern world. Lee Johnson Kia just proved this to me with the interaction I had with them. More

Outstanding service as usual in the service department during my recent visit! Everything was explained, the work timeframe given was accurate and the staff was awesome to deal with! The only thing I woul during my recent visit! Everything was explained, the work timeframe given was accurate and the staff was awesome to deal with! The only thing I would recommend is to get the online scheduler working so one can make appointments online, allowing staff to spend more time with customers! More

I bought a 2018 Kia Optima from Lee Johnson! They added there insurance, so when you drop your car off, and it gets stolen or broken into , there insurance would cover it! That’s just if your ca They added there insurance, so when you drop your car off, and it gets stolen or broken into , there insurance would cover it! That’s just if your car is on there lot! They put it on anyway! It’s a total amount of $375- $400. If I remember correctly! Anyway this is just one thing of many! My drivers door would lock with the key fob still in the car! They said they couldn’t find anything on the computer! Trying to make this short! I bring my car in about 5-6 times if not more, for them to fix the problem! They would drive my car to see if the door would lock. I told them it just happens. Then I found out they we’re driving my car for a long time also the first time they had it for over 3 weeks! It got personal with these jokers! They started to have a attitude!, So I started to let them know how I really felt! Did I mention the door locked on its own 3 days after I bought the car! So I call Kia consumers and filed a complaint. The first gal was helpfully then she left the company and I got a guy named Danny Chittamany. He was rude and helped out a few times then he never returned my call. The last time I spoke to him, I said I want to talk to your supervisor.he said someone will call you back! No one called back! I have a lot more to say about this Lee Johnson Kia, but I’ll post more later! Service department is horrible! Don’t go there! They don’t care More
I purchased two Kia Niro EVs at Lee Johnson in the last three weeks. We came in to replace our cars and switch to EVs and liked the Niro and EV6. In retrospect, I was naïve to believe that the progress in- three weeks. We came in to replace our cars and switch to EVs and liked the Niro and EV6. In retrospect, I was naïve to believe that the progress in-car technologies projected on the people selling them, their integrity, and their business practices. Kamoore Chamberlain and Braulio Arias, under the leadership of Pete Berkey, have all reiterated the old fashion reputation of car salespeople. The first replacement was smooth and straightforward. My wife was looking to replace her QX60 SUV with a smaller crossover; Kia EV6 seemed perfect. Several hours later, we left with a Niro. Everyone swore that the EV6 is delayed and not available before September or October. To make a long story of lies and manipulation short, customers are now driving new EV6 out of the dealership. I now have a better understanding of why the sales manager shushed the finance manager when the topic of EV6 came up. I missed the gist of the finance manager saying they were coming. Are we happy with the Niro? Yes. Were we lied to and deceived to buy it last month instead of waiting to buy an EV6 now? Absolutely. The short-term interest (meet quota in January?), the disgusting nature of car sales (people), and lack of investment in long-term relationships made the outcome of the experience a huge disappointment. I am obligated to warn readers of the dealership. I would like to believe you can do better almost anywhere else. The second purchase was a much worse experience full of part truths, plenty of lies, false promises, and no accountability to the highest level (Tod Johnson, the owner). I am happy with the Kia, but the road to it was an unnecessary experience that left a bad taste. The bottom line is that we had no joy in buying two cars. Buyers should be made happy and made into repeat customers. The people at the dealership and their practices achieved the opposite. I am never giving business to the Lee Johnson-owned dealerships. The Lee Johnson Kia team worked hard and thoroughly to get me to write and share this. More
The sales person was great but the finance person awful. We were badgered about a warranty product and they lowered the price 3 times which means the first price was highly overcharged. Also we got a Kia Ni We were badgered about a warranty product and they lowered the price 3 times which means the first price was highly overcharged. Also we got a Kia Niro EV that was suppose to have a $1,300 reduction in sales tax that the finance person never gave us or mentioned. The sales person was helpful which is why I did not give a 1. The irritation and near harassment by the finance reflects the attitude of the dealership. I will never use this dealership again even though the salesperson did a nice job. More
