I recently moved and needed a 4wd vehicle. I traded in my car for a 2011 Honda CR-V and was foolish enough to take their Salesman (Tim Clark) at his word that he would add Btu-tooth to the vehicle if I took car for a 2011 Honda CR-V and was foolish enough to take their Salesman (Tim Clark) at his word that he would add Btu-tooth to the vehicle if I took the deal. Well now they are saying that it was not supposed to be free and want more money from me. I tried to talk to one of the sales managers which flat out told me if it was not in writing then it was not approved. I will never do business with them again. Lesson learned, get everything in writing as they have no consideration for their customers. More
Similar problems as other person mentioned. Temperature light came on after 1 WEEK of ownership of a new 2013 Civic. Took in for 1st oil change. Problem not solved. Went again and after being patronized by an arrogant service rep, was told I didn't need an oil change (OK = good) but they couldn't fix the light issue. Really? With a new car? And none of the functions of the car were explained to me....probably b/c my salesperson Jay had little clue about the actual car he "sold" to me. Once Carbone Honda gets your money you get a lot of lip service. Then when you return for routine service they overcharge.... and I question how much they really do behind closed doors in the "garage" other than charge you tons of money &/ treat you like you (the customer) like an idiot (especially like a "dumb girl"). This is well known in the community. I kick myself for going there, but was desperate to get a new car. I can assure I will not return when I trade in. One savior is the Civic itself. I do love it. More
Purchased a new Honda Civic there. We take it back for service. Paid for an oil change - overpriced, arrogant service. After 1,200 miles our service light comes on indicating 15% oil life left. Check engine light came on while on a road trip. Brought it here and even though they had 8 cars in the bay, they came out to check on it and spent about 20 minutes with us. Tim at Carbone Honda was amazing. He can really work magic! He went above and beyond for us to get us the best car in our price range and get us out of a car that another dealer that sold us the car wou magic! He went above and beyond for us to get us the best car in our price range and get us out of a car that another dealer that sold us the car would not. We only had the car for 7 months and the other dealer was horrible and would not stand by it, but Honda got us out of it and into a car 3 years newer with 20,000 less miles on it with many extras! We are extremely happy and feel like we received even more than we asked for. THANK YOU TIM!!!!! (note now the entire family is going to this dealership and particularly this salesman) More

The problems started when the sales person I was working with disappeared before the final paperwork was signed. After 3 days of calling with questions, I was finally told that he no longer worked there. Fr with disappeared before the final paperwork was signed. After 3 days of calling with questions, I was finally told that he no longer worked there. From then on I was shoved around from manager to manager who then would hand me off to some other employee. My requests like repairs of scratches and floor mats and the tank of gas I was promised was always met with "I will look into it" which they never did. Finally got what I was owed after asking for it from at least a half dozen people at least 2 dozen times over several days. Unfortunately it did not end there, I am from Connecticut so I received a 30 day in transit permit with a promise that Carbone Honda will handle the registration and I did not have to worry about a thing. With 12 days left of the permit, I started calling asking for an update on my registration. I received more "I will look into its" and never a return call (I called almost every day). Needless to say, My in-transit permit expired 3 days ago, supposedly, the car is registered, but I have not received my registration or even a Fed Ex tracking number since it is "in the mail" so I am not comfortable even driving the car. To sum it up, I will never buy another vehicle from them. It has been nothing but a stressful, unsatisfactory experience. I felt like as soon as they knew I wanted the car, they felt like they could brush me off. More
I bought a car on Sat. A 2012 CRV EXL. Wife wanted it in silver with a charcoal interier. Salesman called back to say they can't locate one. I am really disappointed. No problem with the paperwork. They just can't seem to get me a car with the color we prefer. This is a first for me. I have bought 4 new cars through Carbone Auto in the last 8years. Have had them serviced at the dealership also. I know the sales staff including the sales manager...a truely disappointing experience/ More
I had spent a lot of time looking for a car dealer that would give me a fair price in upstate new york. I visited several dealerships, and while prices (and then bargains offered) were pretty much the same would give me a fair price in upstate new york. I visited several dealerships, and while prices (and then bargains offered) were pretty much the same, I did notice one thing about Carbone Cars: The salespeople that I talked to weren't only interested in selling me a car. The lady and gentleman that I spoke to were both interested in answering my questions instead of forcing me out the door, and after I said I'd have to think about, there was no objection from them at all. I'm going to buy my car from Carbone Cars - the price was right, but I was more happy that I didn't walk into a firing squad as soon as I stepped onto the lot. More
I e-mailed Carbone Dealership for an internet price on a new Honda Accord as I also did with other Honda Dealers in my area of Syracuse. Carbone being the farthest away from me. I have never dealt with Carbone, but I did receive an e-mail from Carbone with a bottom line price which was higher than the Consumers Report recommended as being the lowest you could get. I received a call from Tom Abbatercola that same day and we discussed price and without going to the manager (like they all do) he came down to Consumers Report bottom line. Asked if I had a trade, I said I did and he gave me the best price I could get around Syracuse. My wife and I took the one hour ride to Carbone's Dealership and drove a new car home that day. They are all great there at Carbone and I would recommend this Dealership to anyone. I have not had any service as of yet. Paul More
