Purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram 3500 last Sunday, we are extremely happy with the truck, that's where the happiness stops. We paid for items to be added to the truck. Our financer, Stephanie, told us the "W extremely happy with the truck, that's where the happiness stops. We paid for items to be added to the truck. Our financer, Stephanie, told us the "We Owe" coordinator will be contacting us quickly to set up an appointment to get the work done; as we were excited and didn't receive any calls from the coordinator on Monday, we called several times and left messages on Tuesday and Wednesday, after no response, we called again and asked to speak to a Manager, the receptionist took our information and said "she would relay our complaint to the Coordinator's Supervisor and they would be contacting us soon.... I looked into the reviews for this place and I see they score very low in the "After the sale" and Customer Service, so I won't hold my breath. I see all of their responses to the negative posts say how disappointed they are to hear that we are disappointed and to email them to resolve the issue. If they were truly interested in taking care of us, one would think we would be speaking directly to a Manager and our issues would get resolved within a reasonable amount of time. With all of the negative posts about their Service Department, I'm fortunate to live in Lacey where a reputable dealer will take care of me. If it not for the price of the vehicle, I would not have purchased at this dealership. More
I bought an awesome 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Friday, September 4. The salesman, Joshua Weingart, turned something I was dreading into the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I went in to look at a few Jeep Wranglers we had discussed initially via text/email. He had the vehicles waiting when I arrived and even went out of his way to suggest other vehicles he knew would be close to my original request. He was always so patient, cheerful, knowledgeable and even went back to another lot to bring back a Jeep I had already seen, just so I could look at two side by side. Paul took the time to walk me thru every detail of the deal and come up with the best deal ever!! Paul had to do it all over again when I decided on a different Jeep in the end (that Josh originally suggested🙈) and patiently went through the entire process again. Stephanie in finance, what an angel!! Truly. She worked so hard to get me the best rates. Bless her, she also had to do all the paperwork twice due to my changing to new vehicle. She even helped me coordinate getting all the extra things I wanted for my new baby. Her recommendations were first rate. Stephanie, Josh and Paul...everyone, never once made me feel any request or question was an inconvenience. I literally took their entire day and I never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. They ALL truly wanted me to just be HAPPY with the Jeep I would be taking home. Larson Automotive Group is lucky to have this team and I cannot recommend them highly enough. You won't be treated better anywhere!!! THANK YOU Steph, Josh and Paul. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Jeep Wrangler Sahara baby!! She just needs a name now. 😋 More
My experience with buying a vehicle at Larson Jeep was quite shocking in several ways. During the negotiating process we were upfront about the deal we wanted, that we understood if they couldn’t make it quite shocking in several ways. During the negotiating process we were upfront about the deal we wanted, that we understood if they couldn’t make it but that if not we were going to look elsewhere and not do a long back and forth and waste their time and ours. After not meeting our deal the sales rep, Landy, said she wanted to try one more time. We went ahead and let her. She came back with a deal that she said was what we wanted. She did not get the deal we wanted in fact and the manager or whoever it is that writes the offers had actually tried hiding that fact in the numbers. When we brought this up she grabbed the manager and brought him out and then did a whole show of how she was “sorry she didn’t understand that’s what we wanted.” She did clearly understand exactly what we wanted as we had discussed it thoroughly. While it was disappointing and frustrating to see her feigning her lack of understanding I get it, that’s a typical negotiation process. We went ahead and decided to continue the purchase. During the process she continually mentioned how they were not making any money off this sale and how they were basically paying us to take this car. Her entire demeanor became very brusque and unfriendly. She was even hesitant about if we would be getting a full tank of gas with it. When looking over the vehicle we discovered a scuff on the side of the fender. We asked assurance that they would get it removed. Landy said they would try to lighten it. To my shock She produced a paper to sign saying the car was delivered without any scratches etc.m and she seemed irritated when I wouldn’t sign it until after seeing the car cleaned up. After they cleaned it the scuff was exactly the same. We asked that they buff it out. Landy stated “there’s no money left for that, you took it all” and “it’s a scratch and dent.” She refused to make any other effort at removing it. She said well we can write on the paper there’s a scuff, which she did and to which I added “because they refused to fix.” During the paperwork signing with Ron the finance rep they sneakily tried adding back the 399 for brake plus which we had negotiated off. When asked Ron literally said to us that such and such number was just part of it when in reality it was in addition to it. When pointing this error out to Ron, he made a show of reassuring me it wasn’t that way and when pressed, finally admitted that yes that number was added. He had literally tried telling me that 900 was less then 500. He then went and talked to someone supposedly and got it removed. My partner and I were absolutely shocked that this is how this dealership does Business. First of all, don’t offer a deal if you don’t actually want to sell the car. But if you do, try to have some class still with it. Landy’d attitude was frankly appalling. What dealership shows such an utter lack of customer service and is ok with delivering a sub quality vehicle? How are they ok with their employees making these kind of statements and acting that way toward their customers? Their website says “dedicated to delivering superior service.” Nothing we experienced was even average service and in fact most of it was terrible. Instead of building a positive relationship and ensuring future business and us spreading positive word of mouth I have no intention of ever doing business with them again and am telling everyone I know not to go there as well. Which is unfortunate as many of our friends come to us for car advice and have made purchases based on our reviews, such as Subarus, who have always treated us with utmost respect. This really sours our start with a new auto brand. Oh and it turns out that scuff is all the way through the clear coat. More

Unfortunately, when it was replaced they We lost the electronic key for our Dodge Caravan about a year ago and had it replaced at Larson in Puyallup. Unfortunately, when it was replaced they forgot to put the manual key back inside and we didn't notice it until we needed it this year! -- I called and spoke to Shawna Koon in the Service Department. SERVICE is right! Shawna was able to have the key cut and sent out that very day at no charge. In today's fast pace, online world it is rare to find people who still deliver excellent customer service - Thank you Shawna for taking the time to make a difference in our day and make Puyallup Larson Dodge one of our favorite dealerships! Since they turned off their ability to leave reviews, and I can see why... I’m going to post my review on the internet! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER. I bought a 2018 Dodge Charger I can see why... I’m going to post my review on the internet! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER. I bought a 2018 Dodge Charger Hellcat from Larson On May 24, 2020 from salesman Donnie. It took 6 hours, yes you read that right, SIX HOURS to finish the purchase & we finally left the dealership at midnight. All we wanted to do was write a check in full for the car. Why did that take 6 hours??? They weren’t busy! It was a Sunday night around 6pm when we got there on a holiday weekend! We discovered there was something wrong with the GPS & made an appointment May 27th to get it fixed. We were informed by Anthony @CJDR that we needed a new radio and it would take a week to get it in. We waited 2 weeks & finally called to see if our radio was in and a woman answered & said it had been in “for a few days” & she “didn’t know why they hadn’t called to let us know”. So, we made another appointment to get the new radio put in on June 18th & picked the car up on the 19th. We entered our home address into the navigation and by the time I pulled out of the lot & stopped at the stoplight in front of Larson, the GPS had lost all information & said I was in Buckley, WA not Puyallup! We also discovered the front & rear cameras weren’t hooked back up after they put the new radio in. So, once again, I called to talk to Anthony & was informed he was with another customer & he would call me back. I also text Anthony. I received no reply. We waited 3 days for a call back from Anthony so I called & asked for the shop manager. I was informed he was unavailable & would call me back ASAP. YEP, waited another 3 days, no call back from service manager. At that point, I called the store & asked to speak to the GM. If it truly was the GM, he didn’t seem to care what our experience was & passed us off to Donnie stating it’s up to our salesperson to be the go between between us & the service dept if we were having issues. Donnie assured me he would go over personally & handle the problem & I would be hearing from the service dept. You guessed it, waited a week, no phone call. So I called Donnie back, he feigned shock & I informed him we would not be bringing my car back to Larson given the horrible customer service. All he replied with was, “OK., sorry about your trouble with the service dept., thanks” & hung up. He didn’t give a xxxx. He got his commission. I hope that “measly $200 commission” you complained about was worth losing good customers over Donnie. After Donnie blew me off, I decided to give the service manager one more chance & called & was told by a woman who answered the phone he’d gone home for the day (it was 2pm in the middle of the week) and she could leave him a message & he would call me back. You betchya I left another message! I told her to let her Service Dept Manager know his service dept was the worst customer service we had ever encountered & we wouldn’t bring my car back there if it was the last dealership in WA State. She mumbled ok, she’d get him the message & hung up on me. I doubt he ever got the message and if he did, he didn’t give a xxxx because, uh huh, no call back! How hard is it to pick up a phone & contact a customer? How hard is it to pick up a phone & return a customers call? How hard is it to do your job correctly? It was super easy for me to touch 10 numbers to call Larson. Apparently, phone skills & customer service aren’t required to work at Larson Dodge of Puyallup. It’s almost as if Larson goes out of their way to find individuals who don’t even know what a phone is. Or Customer service skills. Or skills as simple as installing a radio, and other components unconnected to install a radio. I’m just grateful my service only included a radio. I wouldn’t trust them to do any other engine, transmission, or other important work on my car. I suggest you not trust them either. This dealership doesn’t care about its reputation, it’s customers, or it’s customer service. Obviously, based on these reviews, right?! I wish I had read the reviews before dropping $56k in their pockets. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Fortunately, we have found a reputable dealership close to our home we’re very happy with & they do a great job! I happily gave them a glowing review. If anyone from Larson actually reads these reviews, and I see they’ve commented here & there, DO BETTER. BE BETTER. YOUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER, THEY SPEND A LOT OF MONEY WITH YOU. Hopefully, future customers read these reviews before spending any money with you. SHAME ON YOU LARSON DODGE OF PUYALLUP. AND SHAME ON THE LARSON FAMILY. Julie Kinney More

We set a time to meet and when I arrived he had both trucks with keys sitting by the front door of the dealership ready for a test drive. I took one for a test and liked it. We quickly settled on a very fair price and within a very short time I was driving away with a new truck. Great thanks goes to Brent for speeding the process up. If your looking for a newer vehicle, ask for Brent Keith. Brent might be a newer salesperson at Larson, but that just means he will work harder for the customer. More
