After posting on Avondale Dodge web page about the issues that i am posting below, Avondale Dodge has blocked me from posting to their Facebook page. I still have no email or response from them and no straight answers from the sales manager on any of my questions. While i have no Issues with the Chrysler Corporation it is a same that the dealer that sold me the vehicle under their name will not help or respond to any inquiries. *****BEWARE AVONDALE DODGE IN ARIZONA******* Back in March i purchased a 2012 Journey. it was an ad vehicle advertised at $16999. I was told that we could purchase the vehicle at a certain payment. about 2 weeks later they called us back in to re-structure the deal increasing the payment by $70 a month. Knowing we could handle the payment and having them tell us to refinance the vehicle in 6 months for a lower rate, we agreed on the payment.This past week my father also went to Avondale Dodge and they talked him into using their financing even though he was pre-approved through his credit union. They have now ran his credit 4 times. This made me look in detail at my paperwork. Come to find out they did what they called covering the overage on my trade in. Instead of receiving the new vehicle at the sale price i was charged $19486 for the sale of the vehicle plus $3800 for the negative equity of my trade. They showed me that they were giving me $2500 toward my trade but in fact that was applied to the selling price of the new vehicle, for a total selling price of $23286. IF YOU SUBTRACT THE $6300 THAT WAS OWED ON MY TRADE FROM THE TOTAL PRICE THAT LEAVES $16986. That means they gave me $13 for my trade in, plus financed the payoff of my trade in on top of the new vehicle "sale price".They also bumped our interest rate by an increase of 5%. I urge everyone to proceed with extreme caution when purchasing a vehicle from Avondale Dodge, I hope that no one is taken advantage of like my wife and I were. More

Our over all experience was good. My wife and I were in the market for a crossover/SUV. We had seen 8 or 9 vehicles,by the time we arrived at Avondale Dodge. From the very beginning David's experience and willingness to help we're apparent had seen 8 or 9 vehicles,by the time we arrived at Avondale Dodge. From the very beginning David's experience and willingness to help we're apparent. He was glad to show us different models. Some other salesmen had hesitated, when asked to show us smaller/less expensive models. Even though we were near closing time, Dave drove us to a nearby sister dealership to show us a competing model that we were interested in. When my wife narrowed her list, but remained undecided, David welcomed her back to re-explore the interior of the model she was interested in. And when we settled on a Dodge model, David and his floor manager listened closely to our desired features. It quickly became apparent that the particular combination of features we wanted was not on the lot. David spent a great deal of time searching the metro area for the exact set of features we had requested. We returned to the dealership in the evening, mid-week. David and his Floor Manager, Blake, both stayed late to pencil out a deal for us. Believe it or not, the unit we had finally selected, got sold before our purchase order was processed the next morning. Both David and Blake scoured the area for acceptable alternatives. They actually found a unit that fit our requirements even more closely than the first unit we had selected!! And when we were concerned about price/rate of the new unit,they worked around our working hours to find terms we could be happy with. Once again they stayed late on a weeknight to close the deal!! I cannot say enough how glad we are that we worked with David. He went far above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! We appreciated all that you did. More
