I was told that the vehicle I had purchased had a clean title and had never been in an accident, and was then shown the car fax as their proof of this information. I was told that when vehicles go through title and had never been in an accident, and was then shown the car fax as their proof of this information. I was told that when vehicles go through an auction the people that attend have to know and are told if the vehicle has been in an accident or has had any prior damage. So what I understand from this is that the dealership I purchased my vehicle from was told that the car I purchased had been involved in an accident. According to the dealership they appraise their vehicles before they sell them, and the appraisers check the frame the fenders and all other parts that would have been repaired due to an accident, this would confirm what they were told at the action. So when I bought the vehicle I was lead to believe and shown a document stating the car was never in any sort of accident, after hearing this from the sales manager I learned this is normal practice. I purchased my car October of last year at that time i was assured by the dealership as well as the car fax report that my soon to be new car was good to go base off this information I purchased it. I have now decided to try and trade my car in and have been shocked to find a new report on my car fax stating my car had been involved in a front of side impact accident. The new car fax shows that the car was involved in this accident 2/07/2011 which would have been more than eight month before i bought my car but was not reported on the car fax’s till 12/23/2011. Because of this accident my car is no longer worth anywhere near what i purchased it for. If this information was disclosed to me at the time of purchase i would have never considered buying it. I went back to Avondale dodge and asked them about the new information I had and they stated they had always known about the damage on the car. No one told me this before and now that my car is worth 9,000 less than I paid for it everyone is being truthful. This is an unfair practice and I feel this needs to be brought to light as well as corrected. More
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I have been in the dealership a few times and most of time I am treated the same way. They made me feel very comfortable and were very willing to listen to what I wanted and needed in a vehicle. They also were nice and didn't push me into anything. I needed to purchase a truck within 24 hours for my business and did not have time to deal with the normal car dealers negotiations. Dwayne assisted me in making the purchase within my timeframe and s business and did not have time to deal with the normal car dealers negotiations. Dwayne assisted me in making the purchase within my timeframe and sold me the truck at a low price. The customer service was first class and the service department is one of the best in Arizona. I shopped around for a bit looking for the right car and price; and when I came to Avondale Auto Dodge, I knew I found what i was looking for. My husband spoke to Smitty on the phone and lined up a quick me price; and when I came to Avondale Auto Dodge, I knew I found what i was looking for. My husband spoke to Smitty on the phone and lined up a quick meeting. When we arrived, he had the vehicle we were interested in ready to go. Smitty was friendly, helpful, and very honest about what he and the dealership could do for us. I was looking to buy a used car. Looked on line at many dealerships. Found Avondale Dogde. I found a car on line. Went to look at it the same day. When I got there the car was already sold. But the staff Jordan Scherer (product specialist) and Nick Zinevich (sales manager) was very kind and found me a car that I liked even more. I was very happy with the service that I got at Avondale Dodge from Jordan Scherer and Nick Zinevich. They went out of there way to get my loan. I would recommend the Avonddale Dodge dealership because there staff was very courteous and attentive. Brandon Gillespie is the gentleman who helped me out. After going to another dealer that treated us badly, I didn't know what to expect from this one but it was like night and day. Arthur was just fabulous! The dealer was about to close for the day and he waited for us to get there, show us around, test drive the car and do all the paper work without a complaint on time. The price of my new RAM 3500 was the best too! far lower than anywhere else I had checked. This is my first time buying a Dodge truck, but with this quality of service, i can't wait to go back and give them my repeat business. Thanks! A+++ More
Dealer tried to add numerous details into the price of the deal. Things like VTR (vehicle id numbering of parts), Auto Butler (some idiotic upkeep thing), ridiculous document fee ($400) and an insulting the deal. I kept getting the "let me talk to my manager" runaround even after I asked them not to do this. They took my trade-in car keys and wouldn't give them back! I talked to sales manager and got his "auto talk" sales pitch. Asked Luis to please speak to me in terms I could understand, but just got a blank stare. They also refused to deal off the sticker price! Typical "come on in, let me take your money" sales approach. Not happy with them and WON'T GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! More
AVONDALE DODGE DOES NOT HONOR THE USAA PRICE AND WHEN THEY ARE CONFRONTED WITH IT BY USAA THEY SAID THAT THE SALESMAN DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE PROGRAM. ALL CAN SAY IS THAT IS BS. THE FIRST THING I TOLD HIM THEY ARE CONFRONTED WITH IT BY USAA THEY SAID THAT THE SALESMAN DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE PROGRAM. ALL CAN SAY IS THAT IS BS. THE FIRST THING I TOLD HIM WAS THAT I WAS A USAA MEMBER AND HE STATED THAT HE KNOWS ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND PRICING. I ALSO WENT OVER THE SAME THING WITH HIS MANAGER AS WELL. AVONDALE DODGE ARE DECEITFUL AND HAVE NO INTEGRITY. IF YOU’RE A USAA MEMBER DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DODGE DEALERSHIP. I WOULD RATHER PAY THE HIGHER SALES TAX SOMEWHERE ELSE THAN GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS. I understand the USAA guidelines however I was told I would get that price form the salesman and his manager. If they were not authorized to deal with USAA members I would have come back the next day with what I needed but they did not. They wanted to make the deal and they lied to do it. I spoke with Arthur and he has done nothing to help me. He can tell me I got a great deal but we both know that they messed up. They will say anything to cover themselves. I was even told to contact the general manager. I’m still waiting for him to call me back. The long story short, Avondale Dodge will lie to your face to make a deal. We all know that car salesmen aren’t the most honest but we can tolerate it most of the time. You would expect better from a dealership that partners themselves with a great company like USAA and whom they represent. This dealership by far has the most dishonest employees I have ever seen and will do nothing to fix any problems you have with them. More
