American Toyota has the best service department in Albuquerque. I have been taking our family's Toyotas there for the past 5 years. In particular, Tim Scully, Richard Simes, Ed Mace, and Richard Gey Albuquerque. I have been taking our family's Toyotas there for the past 5 years. In particular, Tim Scully, Richard Simes, Ed Mace, and Richard Geyer take handled my service needs exceptionally well. From routine service to tricky repairs, I've never had a problem there. These gentlemen are professional, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile. Don't hesistate to take your vehicle there. More

What a miserable experience! My salesperson did not know the car at all - luckily I knew the car well because I had studied the book. When I questioned some of the options on the car the sales manager said the car at all - luckily I knew the car well because I had studied the book. When I questioned some of the options on the car the sales manager said those options did not exist, I had to show him the Toyota book on the Camry to prove it existed, he then said it was not an available option in the region.... Just because he had never seen it before - we soon found out he did not know what he was talking about. The experience in the service department when showing me the features of the car was very rushed - he was obviously in a hurry and didn't have time for me. A month after purchasing the car I still did not have the registration information - my paper plates were only good for 30 days - we called several times about the paperwork and were told they would email us new temp plates - they never did - we were told that the person who took care of the registration info had quit so nothing got done. I could not legally drive my new car for 3 or 4 days until the paperwork finally arrived. Imagine my anger when I got a letter from Toyota about 6 weeks later saying they were sorry I had not opted to sign up for the Toyota emergency assistance (I don't remember what it is called, but it is the Toyota version on on-star). I assumed this had been taken care of when I purchased the car... It has since been fixed. I will never buy a car from American Toyota again! I will not recommend them to any of my friends. More

My vehicle broke down near Rio Rancho at 5:10pm. I was stuck with my 2 year old daughter and didn't know what to do. I contacted American Toyota's service department and Lesley Brown answered the phone. stuck with my 2 year old daughter and didn't know what to do. She heard the distress in my voice and told me not to worry that they would have the vehicle towed to the service department and they would provide me with a loaner while they figured out what went wrong. I arrived to the dealership about 5 minutes before they closed and Lesley and the service guy Adrian Medina waited there for me. Adrian was very calm and patient while I explained what had happened to my vehicle. Lesley and Adrian both put me at ease and never made me feel like I was holding them up from going home. I really appreciate their efforts. I will recommend American Toyota to all my family and friends from now on and it is all due to these two individuals. Thank you. More
