First of all I was interested in Largo Honda because of their unbeatable prices. After contacting Peter I ask him about the toyota tundra condition. He assured me that he would hold on to the truck so I could make the trip down there. When I arrived service was kind and prompt. I felt at ease at the dealership. I purchased my Honda CR-V on 30 JUL, The customer service was good, Mr. Ruiz offer me a discount for the Honda CR-V of $500 for being a repeat Honda customer, (since I already had a Honda Accord that I used was good, Mr. Ruiz offer me a discount for the Honda CR-V of $500 for being a repeat Honda customer, (since I already had a Honda Accord that I used for trade-in) and a $560.00 discount on the CR-V list price to do the deal,I was offered a .9 APR than it was changed for a 3.9 due to my credit. I was in the dealer for 9 hours very tired of waiting for the finance dept to attend me for the deal to be signed. Mr Ruiz was very apologizing. The finance dept was very busy with lots of contracts to close. I was taken in to the finance dept thereof 7pm and being tired I failed to read in detail the number on the contract. The contract was sign at a 6% APR and I was insisted to purchase an extended warranty for $1520.00.. I left the dealer about 8pm. The next day I was called from the dealer to return to resign the contract due to new bank was taking my loan and my APR was being lowered to 5.69 APR and I was insisted to purchase a Honda Care GAP warranty $850.00 which I did not need. (Later I learned that they get a commission for these warranty that they sell.) The next day when I went thru the contract I noticed that the discounts was not applied to the price only $625.00 discount. I called Mr Ruiz and the finanace dept and advise the full discounts of $1060.00 did not appeared in the contract. I was told the papers work was gone to finance and they would have to get the copy and it would take 24 hours. A week later I did not get any answers and I called Mr Ruiz and I advise him that I was leaving town for a few days and to contact me when they get the copies. Two weeks later I was told that the discount was applied in form of lowering my finance APR. I told the finance dept that was not the deal, and for example if a person go to a store and an item is on sale for discount of $10.00 you expect to get that amount reduced from the price not in the taxes. Nothing was done on the discounts and I feel the Largo Honda dealer were not a good customer service provider on deal. Their logo is No Shark, Largo Honda, I really don't think is true.. I will not recommend Largo Honda to any my friends after having this experience with the dealer, overall Mr Ruiz gave me good customer service and was very courteous to me, he is a good employee an asset to Largo Honda. More
