Yeah, right.!! Made a call to Largo Honda and got George. Very pleasant and within minutes I could hear computer keys and "Yes, there are 6 from here to Palm Beach." "Well, how about that," I said. "They lied to me". Now who ever is reading this don't laugh, I know lying is expected. George gave me no reason to doubt him. I found him straight forward, energetic, no games, quick with return texting and phone calls. I am not sorry either that I gave him a hard time, as I work hard for my money. Got a competitive rate. I got way below what other dealers quoted me at Largo Honda. My car was flat bedded to Largo, and George kept me informed and made my buying a car seamless and streamed lined...He hustled and I'm happy. You're the man, George. It is not often one meets a car salesperson that your first thought is, "Jeeze, what a nice guy," but in this case, it is true. I can say this with confidence after (operant word: after) being married to an attorney who bought a car a year during the twenty-two years of our marriage and sitting through as many painful purchasing processes. Mr Cabrera listened to our needs, explained the advantages of each vehicle, and the listened some more. My husband had prepared for this purchase with weeks of research, and in the end he got a car he loves--he even washed and vacuumed it after I got a few grains of sand on the carpet the next day. Please know that in spite of our very positive initial impression of Mr Cabrera and his personalized service, we were determined to go to another dealership before making a final decision. By comparison, the entire experience was off-putting to the point of being depressing. The salesman seemed more interested in what he thought would make a great sale than in our specific needs, and showed us car after unsuitable car. Additionally, the dealership atmosphere was tense and not welcoming at all, and the grounds and building were littered and dirty. Returning to Largo Honda was a relief from the moment we were greeted at the door. The staff at Largo Honda, from the guy cleaning every speck of dirt or trash to the accountant who helped close the deal, should be proud of the sense of ownership and customer service they project. Our first experience with Largo Honda was 2.5 years ago when a good friend referred us to Largo. My friend was 1000% right....we called, made the deal on the phone and simply drove in to pick up our car. 2.5 years later, we decided to get a new 2013 Accord and repeated the process, made a call, spoke to the Internet Sales Manager, Mr. Peter Cabrera and we were 1/2 way to going home with a new car. We met with Mr. Cabrera, who greeted us immediately, he took the time to explain in the fullest of details all the features of the car we wanted in the most friendly, courteous, and professional manner I have ever experienced at any dealership, no matter what brand. Suffice it to say, that we thought that our transaction with Largo Honda in 2010 was great but the 2nd time now was AWESOME! My wife and I are sold on Honda as an excellent product and will continue buying Honda...However, the most interesting thing about our experience with Largo Honda and Mr. Cabrera is that our children who have been present both times are shocked at how easy and above all how pleasant the overall experience of going to the dealer to get a new car is after simply making a phone call and letting the Sales Representative know what you are interested in buying/leasing. Both my boys were Honda fans because of the car, now they are Largo Honda fans because of what they saw and heard while with Mr. Cabrera. I contact Largo Honda by internet requesting information on a Civic LX 2013. Peter Cabrera-Internet Sales Mgr- answer my request with concerns about the car. I contact him by phone around 8:45pm , after a very proffesional conversation, I felt confident with him. Next day Peter send me an e-mail with complete details of the car and the options to buy or lease. I was very interested and this e-mail helped me to decide what to do, without any pressure. I call him to setup an appointment. As as he said: the price and all details showing in the e-mail was real- "no hidden fees" . Now I am driving a Honda CIvic LX 2013. My car buying experience started with a phone call. Peter was able to give me accurate information to all of my questions. When we followed up with a visit the experience was excellent. We went for a test ride that involved the highway as well as city conditions. Peter was very helpful and explained all the electronic equipment. I never felt under pressure to buy. When we made the decision to buy the CRV, Peter and the office manager took care of everything from getting my electronic title to transferring my insurance. I also want to say that Peter took the time to go over my iphone setup a couple of times. This experience has changed my opinion of car dealerships. Being a 66 year old woman, I was not looking forward to buying a car. I would definitely return to Key Largo Honda for future purchases. More
