First of all my car is very importaint to me. I have taken my vehicle to Landmark several times for service and have always been more than happy. All issues that I have had are quickly resolved without taken my vehicle to Landmark several times for service and have always been more than happy. All issues that I have had are quickly resolved without them trying to oversell me anything. I'm always greeted with a smile and prompt service. I feel as though I am a savy consumer and have compaired prices as well as dealerships and haven't found another than has been able to meet all of my service needs. The General Manager there even made it a point to ask me about the quality of my last visit. I would recommend them to anyone that asked and have even sent a couple of my friends there. More

In May I brought the vehicle in for a routine oil change and inspection. They tried to tell me my brakes were bad, I needed a complete overhaul of hoses, and the CV boots were bad, among other things for a total of nearly $2,000 in upsell against a $40 oil change. I returned in July because the door locks on the drivers side were not working properly. During the first part of the visit, we established that the above mentioned items from the May visit were not valid. We also agreed that a 90 K service would be in order, although they did not have all of the parts needed to complete the list of items to be worked. (This was to have necessitated a future visit once the ordered parts came in.) Upon completion of the door lock repair and service, I noted several things: The air conditioner filter was not installed - even though it was listed as a to do item; the tires were not rotated per my request and listed on the work order; and the bumper clips were not installed. The final straw was their idea of "disabiling" my alarm system to run diagnostics for an elelctrical problem. Their idea of "disablig" was to yank the alarm system out completely (with no hope of putting it back), and then telling me I had to live with it. After a lenghty conversation with the service writer and the manager, they admitted that they should have been more clear that the plan was to take the alarm system out of the vehicle. When I asked for something in writing to document their offer to give me a furture credit against work done there or to have a new alarm system put in, the best the service manager would do was to credit my bill for about a third of the cost. I was given an appointment immediate when i called service. The next day i took in my car and within an hour i had a clean and serviced car. That hour went by very quickly with coffee and some up to date magazines that i read and it felt great getting into a vacuumed and clean car when it was all done. I recently moved to the area and needed service on my 2005 Accord so I brought it to Landmark Honda. Like most Honda dealerships, the customer service and quality of work were good but the price was a b 2005 Accord so I brought it to Landmark Honda. Like most Honda dealerships, the customer service and quality of work were good but the price was a bit on the high side. But what I find most interesting about this dealer is the number of posts they have on dealerrater.com. As of today they have 166 posts while the next highest is about half that number. Can this be a case of "ballot stuffing?" More
I was very impressed with the customer service I received at Landmark Honda. I work with Gus and he did an outstanding job! He made sure that I understood the services that my car needed and worked hard to m at Landmark Honda. I work with Gus and he did an outstanding job! He made sure that I understood the services that my car needed and worked hard to make sure the repairs were within my budget. When my car was not going to be ready when estimated, and he saw I was not happy with this inconvenience, he made extra efforts to get me a rental car (which I didn't end up needing) and also made sure I was satisfied with my experience at Landmark Honda in the end. Gus is definitely a model employee and I feel fortunate that he was the staff person I dealt with. Great job! More

I went to the dealership with the intention of buying the fluid myself but decided to ask if it was possible to have the fluids topped off. I knew I was due for a service, which I had not been able to schedule it because my husband was out of town and I was a bit busy with work and small children. I spoke with Gus and he very kindly pulled up my records and informed me the service due was not a major one. After explaining what the minor consisted of, I asked if it was possible to have it completed right then. Much to my surprise, Gus told me it could be done in one hour. I knew they had to be rather busy, with the area expecting 18-24 inches of snow and most likely many others like me putting off getting our cars ready. I did ask for the service be done, figuring it would take more than the hour promised. The waiting room was packed but it was easy to see that people were coming and going at a steady pace. Gus came to tell me my car was done, under the hour time frame indicated. I was greatful for the wonderful and fast service from Gus and the mechanic who worked on my car. It was a relief not to have to worry about my car having problems if my family and I needed to go anywhere during the snowstorm. I have always been treated with respect and kindness at Landmark Honda. We bought our Odessey at this dealership and know we could easily go somewhere else to have our car serviced. I would recommend Landmark Honda to anyone, any time. I am very thankful for Gus and the way he went out of his way to help me on a very busy morning. More

I am always apprehensive in getting my cars serviced. I do over half the routine servicing myself and keep my cars in pristine condition. It is something I enjoy and take pride in. Some jobs however, like getting the brake fluid replaced, I usually leave to the professionals. This is the first time I used this dealership; I have used another dealership in the area before but I wanted to find something better. So, I visited the service center at Landmark and found the staff to be helpful and the facility clean. A few days later I scheduled my servicing. When I brought my car in I had to use a drop box because it was too early in the morning for them to open, which they well posted is due to a City of Alexandria ordinance. The whole process worked well. I was contacted later in the day by Todd to review the inspection they normally conduct. I authorized an additional work item beyond having the brake fluid replaced. All work was completed in time for me to pick up the car that evening. I inspected the car at pickup and found the car showing no signs of wear (clean driver's seat, no scratches around the engine compartment). Quality of work was rated a 4 because the servicing wasn't totally thorough under the hood. The brake fluid reservoir had been filled to the top, well above the full mark, and had leaked out. I hadn't noticed this at the dealership because it was dusk, but I noticed it at home in my garage. I just wiped up the excess and chalked it up as a minor oversight. Todd and the mechanic (whose name slips me right now) did a great job answering all my questions and taking care of my car. More

Dave Sanita has been my service rep for five years and it is because of him and his team that I continue to have my vehicle serviced at Landmark Honda. Never before I have repeatedly used a dealer's service department because once they made the sale, it was over... Not in this case. Dave is very good to explain what is needed and why; what is being performed; reminds me of the coupons available and he let's me know in advance what service is coming due so I can plan for it. He is totally 100% honest and trustworthy. He is truly customer focused and in this economy when I have a choice, HE IS THE REASON why I continue to return to Landmark to have my vehicle serviced. I have never had a negative experience with Landmark and highly recommend them. More
