Over the years, LMH mechanics Scott Y. and Brad A. always stressed the importance of routine, regular maintenance. All fluids were changed on schedule. Today that car has gone 200,000+ miles. The motor does not use any oil, the transmission is sound, and after recent replacement of the front struts and other routine maintenance items, the car rides and sounds like a new one. The car has never left us stranded. Because of our positive, service related contacts over the years at LMH, I decided to buy a new Accord EX from LMH last July. Joe and Larry were most accomodating after I made the decision to buy. I used the Internet to shop for options and did not use the sales department, so I have no feedback for that department, except that when salesman Ibraham delivered the car, he was very thorough in his explanation of all the features. The very satisfactory performance of the 1997 Accord over the years, sold me on where to buy the new one and where to have it serviced. I highly recommend the LMH service department. More
This dealership & service center are great -- I have used them exclusively since purchasing my Honda CRV seven years ago; something I had never done before. Sean K. is my service team manager and I cou used them exclusively since purchasing my Honda CRV seven years ago; something I had never done before. Sean K. is my service team manager and I could not be more pleased with the service he provides. Professional, personable and thorough, he is always ready, willing and capable of assisting me. yesterday went in for headlghts and oil change -- during Landmark's multi-point check they discovered my air filter and ball joint boots were nearing their "life exectancy." Sean explained the status of the two parts, and answered each of my many questions patiently and completely. Without any sales pressure, he explained how much longer I could safely drive my truck without causing any damage. He is great about keeping me appraised of the timeline. Once I authorized the work, he explained it would take another hour. Fast forwarding... he called to say, my truck was being finished up and would be ready in the next 15-20 minutes. We played phone tag about my arrival, and that I would need a ride from the metro. The shuttle driver was there as I left the metro station, he opened the door for me, had a step stool to help me get into the van (clean and well-maintained) then Sean called me to make sure I had made contact with the shuttle van. When I arrived at Landmark, he greeted me as if i was the only customer of the day, explained that he was able to add a $30 parts coupon to reduce my total costs. The billing staff was efficient and polite; the associate then brought my truck right to me on the sidewalk. Sean and Landmark continue to earn my patronage. I strongly recommend them to my friends and anyone who asks. Thanks Sean, Tan Team and Landmark staff!. More

Landmark Honda really helped me through a difficu from a used car dealer. They found everything that the seller should have before selling the car. Landmark Honda really helped me through a difficult and costly predicament. They were professional, capable, provided great advice on repairs, service, and maintenance. And they worked on my with pricing which was extremely helpful given my situation having just purchased the car and not having planned for lots of immediate repairs. I would recommend them to anyone. I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord on January 6, 2012 from Landmark Honda, Alexandria, VA. I had a pre-approved check and the finance dept after doing numerous calculations on the computer and on the calcula Landmark Honda, Alexandria, VA. I had a pre-approved check and the finance dept after doing numerous calculations on the computer and on the calculator, wrote out the check for the wrong amount. If you knew you made a huge mistake like that, why would you cash the check? I told the sales manager apparently you all have a history of making huge costly mistakes and taking advantage of women. I had paid for my tags, title, etc by check and with my credit card; I wanted to make sure that I had the items separate from the original amount of purchase. You hire financial personnel, to do what? Handle customer transaction/finance and this is their job to make sure mistakes are not made, especially when it comes down to your money. I will never ever go back to Landmark Honda again. I had spoken with the sales manager to inform him that they could eat the $2,220.00, but they said no. I wanted to bring the car back and get all my money back but they insisted that since I purchased the lojack and I got the wax on the car, which cost me close to a $1,000. They were not going to reimburse me. So I am at a lost at $1000. I informed them that after finding out this mistake, the car has already depreciated $500.00. And on top of that, when I spoke with Jim he told me that I owed $3,???.00 vs $2,???.00. So now they are really trying to screw me over. This is a deal that I will never forget. I am a woman who has been taken advantage of; beware of Landmark Honda, Alexandria, VA! I am going to contact a lawyer and send this email to Facebook and Consumer Protection. Rightfully the original charge was for $24,???.00, but if you knew you made this huge costly mistake and tried to cover it up, and then deposited the check, and come back to me on January 16, 2012 to tell me that I still owe money after I put the lojack and the wax on the car and now I can’t return the car because I would be out of $1000, 00. I have had my car repairs done at this dealership since 1999, is this the thanks I get! I could have gone to any other dealership, but I trusted them, and they screwed me. I’m going to pray on it, and determine if I want to take the loss and contact consumer protection since again, the finance (Robert) department told me that I owed $2,???. and then Jim (sales manager) told me that I owe $3,700.00 and as a woman I feel as though I am getting screwed! First of all my car is very importaint to me. I have taken my vehicle to Landmark several times for service and have always been more than happy. All issues that I have had are quickly resolved without taken my vehicle to Landmark several times for service and have always been more than happy. All issues that I have had are quickly resolved without them trying to oversell me anything. I'm always greeted with a smile and prompt service. I feel as though I am a savy consumer and have compaired prices as well as dealerships and haven't found another than has been able to meet all of my service needs. The General Manager there even made it a point to ask me about the quality of my last visit. I would recommend them to anyone that asked and have even sent a couple of my friends there. More

In May I brought the vehicle in for a routine oil change and inspection. They tried to tell me my brakes were bad, I needed a complete overhaul of hoses, and the CV boots were bad, among other things for a total of nearly $2,000 in upsell against a $40 oil change. I returned in July because the door locks on the drivers side were not working properly. During the first part of the visit, we established that the above mentioned items from the May visit were not valid. We also agreed that a 90 K service would be in order, although they did not have all of the parts needed to complete the list of items to be worked. (This was to have necessitated a future visit once the ordered parts came in.) Upon completion of the door lock repair and service, I noted several things: The air conditioner filter was not installed - even though it was listed as a to do item; the tires were not rotated per my request and listed on the work order; and the bumper clips were not installed. The final straw was their idea of "disabiling" my alarm system to run diagnostics for an elelctrical problem. Their idea of "disablig" was to yank the alarm system out completely (with no hope of putting it back), and then telling me I had to live with it. After a lenghty conversation with the service writer and the manager, they admitted that they should have been more clear that the plan was to take the alarm system out of the vehicle. When I asked for something in writing to document their offer to give me a furture credit against work done there or to have a new alarm system put in, the best the service manager would do was to credit my bill for about a third of the cost.
