On Sat, 11 may i damaged my tire. After changing the tire I went to see Sean and discussed what had happened and what needed to be fixed. I went back on Monday and Sean was his usual friendly, professional self. We did the paper work and he told me he would have my truck finished between 90 minutes - two hours. I waited in the waiting room (NICE waiting room, free donuts & coffee and three lage screen TVs on walls) He came in and gave me an update telling me it was going smoothly, they found a burned out brake light and my truck would be done on time. My truck was done on time! Sean is always so customer-oriented and knowledgeable. He always remembers me and greets me by name and he had a couple of coupons that were applied to the cost of my work. i continue to use this dealership because of the customer service Sean provides! A special shout out to Mr Boun who is always personable when he brings my truck from the service area! More
I purchased my car (New, 2008 Civic) from Landmark Honda in December 2007, and have had my car serviced there since then. I have ALWAYS had nothing but positive experiences when I take my car for service. So much so, that I will not TAKE my car ANYWHERE else. I receive quality service, and the team members are always happy, helpful, and friendly. They do everything possible to make sure I get excellent customer service. I don't know a lot about cars, and every time I go to Landmark, the service team patiently explains the diagnosis, and if needed, will show me the problem, so that I can better understand the situation. I was at Landmark, most recently on Friday, April 12th, because my car broke down while I was en route to North Carolina, the previous evening. I got approximately 80 miles from Alexandria, and my engine completely burnt out. Rather than have my car towed to a local area shop, I insisted that AAA tow my car back 80 miles, to the Landmark Dealership. First thing, Friday morning, Gus, had my car looked at. I went back to the shop later that morning and he showed me the damage to my engine, and explained exactly what happened. I would need a BRAND NEW ENGINE and a rental car for several days, while parts were ordered and my car could be repaired. Gus submitted a claim to his manager for Honda's approval to PAY for the total expense of having the engine replaced. Within a few hours, the claim was approved, and Gus called me with the good news and the estimated timeline for the repair. This just goes to show how much this dealership believes in going the extra mile to provide superb customer service. The fact that they were willing to pay almost $10,000 for the parts and labor, was incredible. Something else that is amazing, is that my car was ready ahead of schedule. This kind of job could have taken a week, easily, but 3 days passed, from the time the parts arrived, until the time my car was road ready again. I know that when I take my car to Landmark, I will be dealt with in a professional manner, and that this team will do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience and/or wait time. They will not juggle you around or talk to you in circles. At the same time, the quality of the service is something that can not be beat. It's by far the best dealership in the DMV!! More
My 2003 Honda Pilot has passed 165,000 miles. Sean has been my service rep throughout. I'm very grateful to have a one on one relationship for continuity and just plain personal service. Sean has often gone the extra mile for me in handling things that have come up. And with the backing of the rest of the service team, he's usually gotten me back in my car in short order. I'm going for 200K or more, something I've never done before. And, knock on wood, I'm in a car that I feel confident will not let me down since Sean and I have tended it with care. Give him a star! Last month I took my 2005 Honda CRV to Landmark Honda twice. During the first visit, I needed a headlamp replaced and the nitrogen level in my tires checked. I made an appt with Sean for the next day; I brought my truck in and did the paperwork w/o inciednt I did not even get to read the paper, they had me in and out so quickly. Three weeks later, I realized I needed a state emissions test, Again, I called Sean, he scheduled an appointment and two days later I was in was in and out in 45 minutes. Sean is always great about scheduling appointments during the slower times. He is profesional, personable, courteous and he remembers my name. Always nice to be personally greeted by name. He is good about explaining the work done and applies all the eligible coupons/specials they have at my visits -- even if I did not bring it in with me! That is definitely customer service! He aims to please and does a great job. It was nice to see he was also selected as the Employee of the Month in Jan. Many thanks! More
I own a 2008 Honda Civic SI and have used Landmark Honda, specifically Brian Cail, for each and every service appointment I have made over the lifetime of my car. This includes all factory recommended service as well as requests for upgrades as well. I do this because I trust him with my SI, and while text on a webpage hardly captures the full emotion I have for my car, I can only say that I love it. To leave it in anyone else's hands is simply not a chance I am willing to take. In a word, Brian is exemplary. He and I are on a first name basis and he never struggles to remember my name when I bring my car in for service. In a world that's only getting larger, to receive such personalized service is truly rare, which is why I feel he deserves recognition for his work on this website. Furthermore, despite the personal attention Brian gives his customers, it is clear he is a consummate professional. He not only seems to know his job, he seems to have a passion for it, which is clearly reflected in his work. While I have no doubt that all of the service managers at Landmark Honda are excellent, I would not hesitate to give Brian my highest recommendation; and he would be first suggestion of the service managers with whom you try to schedule and appointment. Lastly, Landmark Honda will not waste your time trying to sell you on packages nor take any more time than is necessary to service it. More importantly, they WILL NOT find problems that do not exist simply to increase billable labor hours. Not only does that speak highly of the ethics and professional stewardship of the dealership, it is truly nice to deal with honest, hard-working people. There are plenty of other dealerships in the DC metro area, but I would rather wait to see Brian and deal with his team than take my car anywhere else. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that it's difficult to earn my trust, but Brian has definitely done it. If you have the opportunity to use Landmark Honda as your service center, see him. Although I have a Honda dealership within minutes from my home, I go out of my way and traveling over 20 minutes to get my Odyssey serviced at Landmark Honda. I have been going there for almost 10 years and Gus from their service department goes out of his way to make me feel valued as a customer. Not only does Gus help me save money during service visits, he figures out how to make my visits as convenient and fast as possible. When I couldn't pick up my car, Gus came up with a great idea to make is so my husband and I didn't have to juggle our schedules to pick it up after a service visit. Because of that level of customer service, I continue going back - it is difficult to find a dealership that cares that much about a customer! Gus really sees the true value of a long-term customer as opposed to a short-term one and I really appreciate that. My husband is not a Honda convert yet but is considering it now that he has seen the level of service I receive and seeing that Gus wants to SAVE me money instead of taking it. Not only do I get my cars serviced at Landmark, I have bought 3 cars from them and will continuing doing so as long as they continue showing the high level of service they have in the past.
