I would like to thank Ray and Josh for helping me buy my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander SE!!! These guys, from the start, were up front and honest with me. I can't say how much that means to me. They helped me get the price that i needed for my trade-in and the payments that i wanted on my new vehicle. These two were very personable and funny and down to earth. I was searching on the internet for vehicles on cars.com and came across this Mitsubishi that caught my eye. I won't lie, the price caught my eye at first! I decided to go in to Landmark Ford and take a test drive, so i called and was transferred to Ray. Ray was pleasant and scheduled me a test drive in between my two jobs. I got there around 1:45pm and had to be at my second job at 3:00pm. The test drive was good and Ray was very knowledgable about the Mitsubishi and helpful. We returned to the dealership and i told ray what i was trading in and what my payments needed to be. He worked with me until the very last minute that i could stay before i had to be at my other job. By the time i left there, we had a verbal agreement. I told Ray that i would stop back by after my second job and bring my wife to see the vehicle. He told me to ask for Josh when i came back. When my wife and i arrived that night, we took the Mitsubishi for another test drive and all but decided to buy the vehicle. Josh suggested that we take the vehicle for the night and come back with a final verdict the following day. We took the vehicle home and i took it to work the next day and showed it off to everyone and got their oppinions on it. I also had time to take it by my mechanic to check it out and all the cards were falling into place. After work i went back to Landmark and talked to Josh again, who not only remembered me, but started cracking jokes. I felt very calm and casual talking with him and then Ray came out of the office and shimed right in on the wise cracking. We got down to brass tax and closed the deal....very easily. I left the Mitsubishi at the dealership for detailing and i would pick it up after my second job that night. Ray then gave me a ride back to my house and i went to work. When i arrived at Landmark that night, Josh greeted me at the door with a smile and believe it or not a hand shake and a hug!! That has never happened to me before especially with a car salesman. I am a big guy and that surprised me but made me laugh. I felt like i could really be friends with these guys...super good guys! Josh brought my new Mitsubishi out of the shop where they had kept it out of the rain all afternoon for me, and we exchanged vehicles. Josh gave me a hand shake and we parted ways. What an easy and awesome experience....Thank you guys so much!! JOE More

In Aug. of 2011, we had brake work done on our 2004 Explorer, New rotors on the front, and resurfacing on the back. In March of 2013 we took the vehicle back in and they told us that we need new brake Explorer, New rotors on the front, and resurfacing on the back. In March of 2013 we took the vehicle back in and they told us that we need new brake pads, when I told them about the brake work in Aug, 2011, they stated that they had not replaced the pads when they did the previous work, the standard practice is to replace pads when the rotors are replaced or resurfaced just ask any mechanic. I came into buy a car after not having the most positive experience at another dealership, and Diane immediately jumped into help. My new Fusion, is the 5th vehicle that I have purchased from Landmark. As always, the staff goes out of their way to be helpful, and they are always courteous. I was dissatisfied with the disconnect between the salesman who reviewed the car with us and the sales supervisor who set the price. When we thought we had a price and we got a call from the salesman salesman who reviewed the car with us and the sales supervisor who set the price. When we thought we had a price and we got a call from the salesman that the car was ready, we went back to the dealership to pay for the car. Howeaver, we had to wait about 40 minutes while the finance manager, who we didn't need at all, chatted with an employee. When we finally got in to him, he first tried to sell us a VERY expensive car warranty and then made us feel foolish for turning down a "no brainer" tire warranty. The deal was busted because we understood that taxes were included in the price we negotiated. But the sales supervisor insisted that was not the case, which raised the price by $1200 plus fees. So overall it was a very negative experience. Other dealers we have visited in small towns around say half their business is from people coming from the Springfield Landmark dealership with the same story. Communication is a big problem at this dealship. More
