Deceptive and Dishonest I was in Atlanta at a conference and as I was getting on the highway for the 500 mile drive home my transmission would not shift gears upon accelerati I was in Atlanta at a conference and as I was getting on the highway for the 500 mile drive home my transmission would not shift gears upon acceleration and I was told to get it to the nearest dealership which unfortunately was Landmark. It was a Saturday and they could not look at my car until Monday so they secured a rental car for me. I had to drive home because I care for my mother with Alzheimers and I only had care for her until that night. When I left Atlanta I had no idea it would be 80 days until I saw my car again and that it wouldn't be repaired. This dealership is impossible to reach - if someone actually answers the phone you get transferred and if you get voicemail they will never call you back. Ultimately I was told by Wes I was getting a new transmission which was also reiterated by Shawn the Service Manager. To make a very long story short - my car gets back home on day 80 and a week later it is back in the shop. I am now told I never got a new transmission or even a "rebuilt" transmission. They did a basic repair knowing it would not work. Had I tried to drive the car home from Atlanta I would not have made it 200 miles and could have been injured or killed on the highway. I was lied to repeatedly. I have already spoken to a lawyer and I will most definitely be contacting the Attorney General and BBB. Absolutely unprofessional and appalling doesn't begin to cover it. More
