Really Poor Service Last year, I bought a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee for my son. Last Friday, with only 11,000 miles, the car broke down and stranded my son. The service depa Last year, I bought a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee for my son. Last Friday, with only 11,000 miles, the car broke down and stranded my son. The service department said it would be several days before they could even look at it. When I raised concerns over the timeline, they suggested I take it to another dealer. They also said I should have bought an extended warranty to cover a rental car. I told them I didn't expect a new car would be out of service over a week. They have now had my car 9 days and I haven't been told a diagnosis or timeframe. I have called numerous times the last couple days and can't get a live person on the phone or a returned call. I would not recommend a Jeep or Landmark's service department. More
HORRIBLY DISHONEST My experience with Landmark Dodge was ok until my new car salesman Britney avoided my calls on the issue of a new car finance manager (Freddy Fehr My experience with Landmark Dodge was ok until my new car salesman Britney avoided my calls on the issue of a new car finance manager (Freddy Fehr) there running my credit down with inquiries after I left the dealership. My intentions were to come back to put a down payment on a new dodge charger being i was upside down. Which was fine, Fredy Fehr told me he was only going run my credit by two lenders base on my scoring which he can do without running it to everybody, that was not the case September 5, 2016. My credit score was good base on my paying history only issue was negative equity. This type of dishonest practice leads me to not trust this dealership with future purchasing. This dealership is supposed to be king of taking anyone trades that is not the case here. That advertisement is not true. I been calling the finance manager and calling Britney even recorded everything that was said during my visit there. I Still have not heard any response from the dealership. Now I am forced to contact the FTC, BBB on this issue of dishonesty and not being clear on what he or she is doing with my credit file. This report is to let others know that if you are upside, do not come here unless you are 5000 dollars or less in negative equity and if there are rebates good enough to eat that cost. Also to let consumers know that you can negotiate what you want, but you need to make sure how much the dealership willing to give you on your trade honestly and not change that once they contact the finance companies because they do not want to eat the cost. I would advise finding a lender before coming to such an establishment as landmark if you are upside down or have challenged credit. They will submit your credit to the ground to make sure you do not go anywhere else. My review base on my experience would be 0 but i gave them a one. This type of behavior to consumers is not good at all. If you have no negative equity and good credit make sure they don't run your credit down. Reply, Reply All or Forward | More More
Do not Service your car @ Landmark! Poor management DO NOT REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE AT LANDMARK! I've seen Landmarks dealership service department inside and out over the past sixty days, I've dealt with two DO NOT REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE AT LANDMARK! I've seen Landmarks dealership service department inside and out over the past sixty days, I've dealt with two baffling issues, dozens of phone calls, and several in disappointing in-person encounters. My first experience was an OIL CHANGE. After waiting for 2 hours, the service was still not done; CHRIS TOMLINSON (the current sales manager) apologized and regretfully informed me that he couldn't complete the service. They didn't have the right oil!? I chalked this up to a bad day and decided to give them a second chance. My SECOND EXPERIENCE led to more disappointment. I'm baffled at how much they just lie, delay, and express the most unprofessional concern about getting the job done. On multiple occasions, I experienced delays on repairs, repeated excuses, blown promises, poor communication, and bad management. All of these contributed to a terrible experience. After lengthy discussions with the GM, MIKE ORCUTT, he admitted that they are getting "10x the amount of work" that they're equipped to handle. At every point along the service experience, I've been disappointed. Mike admits that the system is "broken" and he's trying to fix it. STAY AWAY! If you're not a dropped call, you'll get send straight to voicemail, or ignored and put on hold. The phone system routinely sends calls to the wrong extension. Poor communication...Parts routinely not ordered or ordered late, bad customer service, blown deadlines on repair. Empty promises on service. Now its been sixty days, and the job they've been tasked to do takes seven hours, yet they've had the part for over 10 days. I've been told every excuse imaginable...The parts are delayed, the tools we need are locked in the tech's toolbox who's out of town. At every roadblock, your car will get shuffled into the service rotation. The managers are simply more worried about keeping the techs busy and rotating them into a paid tasks rather than focusing on completing one. Hey, I get it, Landmark is busy, so stop promising customers that you can complete a job and be honest. Be professional. Admit it when you are too busy and quit disappointing more customers. This process will inevitably alienate more customers, but not before upsetting everyone. Don't let this be you! More
I honestly believe I made a mistake I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee earlier this year. Today I brought my vehicle for its first service. The routine services plus I wanted them to look I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee earlier this year. Today I brought my vehicle for its first service. The routine services plus I wanted them to look into the 4 outstanding recall notifications. I dropped the vehicle off at 7:30am, took the shuttle home, and am still waiting for someone to contact me. Its 4:15. I know now that I should have asked more questions like what the estimated service time, and at what e point will I be contacted if the vehicle isn't done by end of business day, by what time do I need to contact you to have the shuttle bring me back to the dealership, how often does the service team members check voicemails in those instances that no one picks up the phone over the course of 82 minutes, but I didn't. My fault clearly. But somehow, I just don't feel good about the service or service department. And while I have doubted my purchase each time I received another recall notification followed by the "I told you not to buy it" remarks, today was the first time I really felt like I made a bad decision. I'm not optimistic that'll get any better. After all, it is just month 7. More
