I would NOT recommend the Ann Arbor facility for buying a car or service. I have had multiple problems and issues with the facility. From changing the type of oil they put in my car and not telling me. To in car or service. I have had multiple problems and issues with the facility. From changing the type of oil they put in my car and not telling me. To inferior service work done, then charge me more to have work done again. The service manager was rude and told the service writer " Just get them out of here" while I was expressing my concern about their poor communication and changing the type of oil used, and telling me. Salespersons quoting me a price for a new car, and trying to charge more for the car than the sticker price in the window. The bottom line is they are deceptive and poor quality work. More
We drove an hour to see a used car on a Friday. Decided it was going to be mine. It was late in the day, so we put a deposit on it, filled out the credit application (which was run) and were goin Decided it was going to be mine. I was also waiting for payment from the insurance company. The car we put a deposit on was sold the next morning, despite the fact that I had a deposit on it! We were LIVID! Apparently this dealership has no honor and does not stand behind verbal contracts and handshakes! I took the situation to the general manager Mr. Perry, and he was going to see if they had another of the model I had selected from their rental fleet. He found one but it was out with a customer. That was the last I heard from this man, despite several calls to both his cell and office number and emails. This whole situation was just despicable. This is what you can expect from LaFontaine! I will NEVER step foot in one of their dealerships again. If anyone reading this wants that kind of treatment, feel free to stop into one of their dealerships and try to make a deal! More
First and foremost, Jillian is an amazing salesperson and is great at her job. She is very kind and wants to help as much as she can. But if you’re looking to be scammed out of a couple thousand dollars, then this is the place to go thanks to the sales manager John! Please do your research before coming in. Most Kia dealerships in Michigan do not charge above MSRP, but this place is different. They tried charging me $4,000+ above MSRP. When trying to reason with the sales manager and explain how that’s wrong and I’d like to buy it for the price KIA says it’s worth, he proceeded to tell us “Why would I sell you this car at MSRP and only make $500 off you when I can sell it to someone else and make way more”. The $36,000 SUV I was interested in buying jumped to $50,000! Even with a $20,000 down payment. There are plenty of honest KIA dealerships around, save your time and money and go somewhere else! More

They told me they don't have loaners available. I had to talk to service manager to get a loaner. They service manager did get me a loaner. They really need to fix their service department big time. If they don't fix their issues. They will loose a lot customers and they will stop buying kia. Sorry to say this will be my last kia that I own. I am sick and tired of failure transmission issues especially they new car very low mileage the transmission failed. More
I would be VERY cautious and avoid getting a Kia from this dealership. My son bought a BREAND NEW KIA here about 6 months ago. He his a pothole too hard and needs some repairs. The dealership has had his vehicle for over a month now and has no ETA when parts for his new vehicle that he is making payments on will be available. They will not give him a loaner vehicle and the sales manager (Karyn) was incredibly rude to him when he dared to ask her for a loaner. If you want lousy service and no help, this is the place for you. The LaFontaine difference is one I would stay away from! More
They’ve had my car for over 2 months under warranty and I’m left carless. Walking to work in the heat so hot you could throw up or the rain so hard I could get pneumonia…. I’ve asked several times for a loaner car and they keep denying me. My car is under warranty… only a 2015 with 70k miles and I’m left without a car for months . Any other dealership would have given a loaner until repairs are done with no extra fees. Kia won’t even give you info to be able to give you a loaner. Just leave you high & dry for months without a car. I’ve talked to the service Manager AND a service advisor without any help or direction to get help. Thank you for not taking care of your loyal customer of 6 years.. I reviewed them on Google & they comment telling me to “call the service manager” leads me to a trash disposal co… This place just takes advance of young woman . We have severe health issues we’ve put on hold. I had to call an ambulance the other day verse just driving up there. Are you going to pay that bill? I’ve had to walk through the SWAT team to get home because there was a gunman on the loose. What if I got shot or robbed or trafficked as a woman? It is now November & hailing out..I’m still walking to work. Or I would lose my job. I even almost had to go to the emergency room because of something that bit me on my way to work walking through sidewalks. I also missed my Bridal shower last month and every time I call for an update I don’t get pleasant responses or I get hung up on. This is all warranty work. Why do I still not have a loaner or some type of compensation for this xxxx you put me through? Everything I’m missing out out on and if something is seriously going on with my family’s health we have no way of knowing.. how many more doctors appointments do I have to cancel and now they can’t get me in for a few months? More
