On July 20, 2024, we purchased a 2020 Four Winds 27R Class C motor home from La Mesa RV in Sanford, FL Over all in the appearance was in good shape. We discovered that after we left the gate about a mil Class C motor home from La Mesa RV in Sanford, FL Over all in the appearance was in good shape. We discovered that after we left the gate about a mile away from the dealership we found right turn signal out. Called them and they said they would fix it. I was furnished a link to the manual it was approximately 600 pages. I called Thor and asked if I could get one, it was going to be $600.00. We spoke to the sales manager and he said that he would print one. Other issues are a Spare Tire with mount, Coach battery was had black duck tape on the cover of the awning. I decided to get there legal department involved and we came to terms and they did compensate us for those issues. On February 12, 2024, I took the Motor home in for servicing. I received a call from the service center they said everything looks good but the tire need to be replaced because they are dry rotted all were passed the 5 year mark., Dry Rot just does happen in 7 months they just disguised the tires with tire shine and RV molding lubricant. La Mesa RV Bait and Switch Sales Tactics… Thought bait and switch sales tactics were gone? No, they are still alive and well and practiced daily by La Mesa RV. In short, I was told by a La Mesa sa bait and switch sales tactics were gone? No, they are still alive and well and practiced daily by La Mesa RV. In short, I was told by a La Mesa salesperson at the Pleasanton Alameda County Fairgrounds RV show (Jan '25) to put a down payment on an RV that I was seriously considering. This deposit would ensure that I had secured the vehicle from sale to anyone else for 24 hours. After completing all the form(s) to do so and providing them a credit card to charge the deposit, the Manager said unequivocally that "He can't do that..." I told him that I would have an answer in 24 hours whether I wanted to purchase the RV, based on my overnight review of the vehicle in question. The salesperson said that they do this deposit/purchase an RV regularly, which is why I decided to move forward with a deposit. After taking 2-1/2 hours of my time in moving the transaction forward, to post the deposit the Manager didn't care, nor make any attempt to honor what his salesperson(s) had promised to complete the transaction. The Manager approached the transaction like this was a common denial occurrence... I would recommend other RV vendors, as you simply cannot trust La Mesa RV. Who knows how long they will be around if they practice these egregious sales tactics. Just read their reviews by Google, Yelp and Trust Pilot, they are terrible. Additionally, they have an "F" rating by the BBB and numerous lawsuits that involve selling illegal vehicles and not honoring warranties to buyers of Rv's. Wish I would have done so prior to engaging in any dialogue with any of those dishonest employees... Date of experience: January 28, 2025 More

I guess the following is my fault for going back to La Mesa Tucson service after the issues I had last time but they called about a seat belt recall and I also had a Hydraulic leak in the leveling jack Mesa Tucson service after the issues I had last time but they called about a seat belt recall and I also had a Hydraulic leak in the leveling jack system. I arrived at my appointment on Nov. 30th at 8:00 where I met with my service advisor Julio. We went over my seat belt recall and jack issue and I asked how much it would be to do an oil change, fuel filter, and generator service, he looked at a list and said $1100 + parts and in his word he said parts aren’t that much and it included checking all fluids and adjusting and lubing the slide outs. I agreed to that work and amount. He called me a couple hours later and said the rear differential fluid was dirty and the radiator fans were clogged at the price of $290 for the differential and 1 hour labor for the radiator, I refused those services. I didn’t hear anything back on Thursday or Friday so I called Friday afternoon to get a status, Julio said they had to order some “bolts” for the jack system but everything else was done and would be ready Monday. Monday passed and no communication, I called Tuesday morning and was told the motorhome was ready and I could pick it up after 1:00. I arrived shortly after 1:00 and was presented with an invoice of over $2800, mind you the recall was free and the hydraulic system charge was about $99 for half an hour labor to tighten some bolts. It was extremely hard to tell where I was being overcharged because the invoice was broken up in sections, it didn’t just list $1100 and what was done, it had air conditioner service that I had never requested but assume it was part of the $1100 package deal. I asked Julio how it got from $1100 + parts to $2800, he looked at the invoice and said the discounts weren’t applied, even though I think he was the one that filled out the invoice. He came back with a cost of over $2300 and I just paid it and left vowing to never set foot in La Mesa again and warn others of the deceptive practices through social media, online reviews, and the Better Business Bureau. It’s hard to tell how much I was overcharged since I didn’t notice until I got home that I only received a copy of a small portion of the invoice. The invoice also stated that I had agreed to an estimate of $3000 which I never agreed to. More

This dealership and management will outright lie to you. Went to pick up our rv and it wasn’t ready and it had a lot of issues that weren’t resolved. Waited until the following day to pick up and the issues Went to pick up our rv and it wasn’t ready and it had a lot of issues that weren’t resolved. Waited until the following day to pick up and the issues were still not resolved. Took it anyways with a promise from a manager that when I brought it back everything would be taken care of. I called back that same day when I got home and talked to that same manager and he said he had told me no such thing. I had to fight to get my 1 day old rv fixed without having to pay for it. Took it to Tucson la mesa the next week and had to explain everything all over again except now there was a huge leak that had presented itself because it had rained. Nothing was ever fixed and the manager from the mesa la mesa was just simply a liar and I will never even look at anything from this company. More
