Beware I read other reviews about this location putting in the wrong engine oil. It will cost you the ultimate price!! Shortly after having my oil changed at this Kunes location I start smelling a burning smell coming from my mercedes benz. I went there because it was more reasonable price and closer than the Kunes I normally go to in Wisconsin where I purchased the car. I truly regret it because my engine blew. I’m left to pay for the repairs 6,700 because the “no fear warranty” only covered 5000 dollars now I’m without a car and a broken heart because I can’t afford the repairs. The service light on my dash was never reset so I’m not sure if the oil ever got changed and will never know because everything is done behind the scenes. I was told mercedes oil change was good for 10k miles i was at 106,704 and the sticker in my window said 113,970 from the dealership that was questionable I should have known better ruined my car. The service tech was (CORTLAND) or something similar to that was on the paperwork. I can’t stop crying because I was taken advantage of and my Mercedes is ruined!! Going the cheaper route at this Kunes location cost me everything and the dealership has no compassion but I understand when it’s all about making big bucks..I was a loyal Kunes customer but I will never do business with this establishment again..Also rude service staff with poor hygiene !!! More

Before we drove off the lot, after the papers were signed, I realized the windshield was cracked. It took them six days to correct the problem. For a cracked windshield? Make sure your car purchase is perfect before you sign anything. Once I signed the front office ran away. Thankfully the service guys got it done. More
If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from this non-responsive dealership, I consider my efforts a success. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bu this non-responsive dealership, I consider my efforts a success. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. Kunes is just not worth the visit, or business. :( More

Disappointing Communication when scheduling to look at a car. I scheduled an appointment to look at a specific car and I was told since I was driving an hour that Joel would hold the keys so the car would b car. I even said I would put a deposit over the phone and he did not accept that. I got there after taking time off work and was told the car was sold 2 hours ago. I confirmed my appointment 45 minutes before I go t there and they did not tell me it was sold but let me drive the hour anyway most likely to see if I would buy a different car. I am not convinced they even had the car there that I was going to look at and that there is a Joel that works there. He is not listed on their staff roster on their website. One reason I hate going to car dealerships. More
Most frustrating experience trying to buy a new car. Set an appointment to come to dealership which was then cancelled because they did not have the vehicle (2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid w/SEL convenien Set an appointment to come to dealership which was then cancelled because they did not have the vehicle (2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid w/SEL convenience pkg in White) Told it would be in in a couple days and the Mgr would be contacting me. I contacted them 4 days later since the vehicle was shown on their website and priced as previously quoted at $34,695. After numerous phone calls I was finally told that it was not currently on the lot but still coming in. OK I could wait but the salesman then informed me that the price would now be $42,200 because it was the last one they were expecting. Obviously, I wasn't going to be held-up by an unscrupulous dealer. May original contact called me a couple days later and I explained what had transpired. He said he would talk to the manager to see what could be done. It's been a couple days and getting no response tells me all I need to know about this dealership. I fully intend to report my experience to Hyundai Corp. and IL A.G. consumer division. More
