My experience with this dealership was appalling. The sales guy did the good ol' bait and switch with a bronco that was advertised on my sister, and from there it just went down hill. Seriously folks The sales guy did the good ol' bait and switch with a bronco that was advertised on my sister, and from there it just went down hill. Seriously folks, if you're looking to get ripped off and taken advantage of, by all means, go to this crap hole. If you want a good deal and a vehicle you will actually like, go elsewhere. Good thing, my sister did not buy a vehicle from this place and those shelby pick up trucks out front, well they look good there. I will buy mine somewhere other than there. More

When showing up for that appointment the Sales rep had no clue who we were and looked so dumbfounded as he was already working with another person who happened to pull in right as we did. So we got passed off to another Sales rep i though ok because he seamed nice and easy to work with.... MAN WAS I WRONG. He gets us test driving and during these test drives was supposed to be starting the prosses for financing, come to find out he was not. When we come back, he starts running numbers and claims he will be right back. (he could be seen walking around the dealership checking in with the people at the desk every now and again). After about an hour he stops back by his desk to let us know he is still waiting for Ford to get back to us but that you guys are with our "prime lenders.... "what ever the #&^$ that means". he comes back again and says I want to show you some other cars I think going NEW will be better to Hide what negative Equity you have in your car. So he pulls up a base model Escape, with nothing on it. For the cost of a car, I'm not interested in a "base" model. We asked about the Ford Bronco, since it was going for about the same price as the Escape. He pulls up the Bronco when showing it to use he says looks like you guys would have an interest rate of 2-3% with this nice one here so take it for a spin and ill do the numbers. After the test drive he comes out and says she is nice right, so here is the thing we ran the numbers and it looks like this would not be a good fit but if you have a co-signer we can make it happen. The co-signer was with me, so they applied and then about 2 hrs later he comes back and says ok so We got an offer from landmark but we are sill waiting for Ford to Respond. shows us a sheet with terms on it they wanted a little more for a down payment and the payment was a little higher, and since they were closing, he said to see what we could do, and they would work on it tomorrow, and he said take a photo of it and lets see if ford comes back with anything better...5 hours there and nothing finalized. I check in on Friday...no update, but I was just going to swing the higher payment and put a little more down with the lender deal we took the picture of, so I told him we would come in on Saturday to finalize everything, and he agreed. I show up Saturday, and out of nowhere there is no deal. "LAND MARK pulled that deal back" UM WHAT I've never heard of a deal being pulled back. he clams that the contact who sent it no longer worked there as of Friday....Excuse me, what? How does that affect my deal? And now he's showing us a different Bronco, I can only assume the one we were working on is gone. After that test drive, he says new incentives will come out on Tuesday, that will hopefully be better, so I will send a group text to all parties, on Tuesday. Surprise, Tuesday comes and no text, I have to reach out to him YET again and he says we have to wait till Wednesday when they are in the system....It's now Wednesday, and I am STILL waiting!! LOOK IM NOT STUPID I know my situation is not easy, but it just takes work. Every customer should be treated the SAME!!. Do not treat me like crap because I'm less than perfect like others in the show room. I guess I don't belong in a dealership like this with my poor, working class, less than stellar credit xxx. I'm not this perfect deal, and get this now he is avoiding me when he told me i would have a response today and I've heard nothing. Look, don't play games, just be straight and open with me tell me you don't wont to work with me, don't just leave me on ignore to take a different deal, that doesn't say much about you. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE! More

If i could give it a 0 star i will. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Kunes In Antioch IL , and it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we stepped foot onto I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Kunes In Antioch IL , and it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we stepped foot onto their lot, it was clear that honesty and integrity were not part of their business model. Initially, we were lured in by what seemed like a great deal on a car we were interested in. We agreed on a sales price, with the sales man josh only to arrive the next day with the cashiers check for the exact amount we agreed to the previous day and find that the price had mysteriously increased due to supposed "fees" and "taxes" that were never mentioned during our negotiation. Feeling deceived, we promptly left, but the saga didn't end there. The following day, we received a call from the manager, Doug, who apologized profusely and promised to rectify the situation. He assured us that the car would be promptly shipped to us. However, what followed were hours of empty promises and blatant lies and deception. Each time we inquired about the status of the car, we were met with excuses and delays. First, it was the lack of available delivery drivers, then it was a promise to ship it out the next morning, which never materialized. As if that wasn't enough, when we finally said we want to speak to doug again, we were then told that the car had been accidentally shipped to another dealership and retrieving it would take time and nearly impossible. Which was a lie because during one of my earlier calls, the other manager had already hinted to just find a different car it was too many games being played. It became abundantly clear that we were being strung along with fabricated stories to cover up their incompetence and deceit. Ultimately, we were left without the car we had agreed to purchase and wasted valuable time and energy dealing with Kunes's lies and manipulation. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of this dishonest dealership. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and after doing so, i read some of the reviews that other have left on there as well, i honestly feel this place needs to be shut down immediately. This is no way to run a business. More
I wouldn't subject my worst enemy to this dealership. They lie constantly and even made up parts on my car that needed to be replaced when i brought it in for service. Bought a suv less than a month ago . They were quick to make a sale and rushed me and I fell for it. Then get car home and pop the hood and the entire engine covered in some kind mud . H They were quick to make a sale and rushed me and I fell for it. Then get car home and pop the hood and the entire engine covered in some kind mud . Horrible. Also the finance guy was horrible and so rude . Almost walked out but my sales guy got a different man to handle my finance. Interior of car also was just wiped down not detailed . Then the drivers door wouldn’t engage to open from inside. Brought the car in to be fixed at Kunes get there and they said it won’t be done for hours after I received a text the day earlier saying I could wait . Today I just dropped car off at 7:30 so we will see how long this takes. I have attached photos for reference from my review. Paid over $17,000 for this suv and it’s been a nightmare dealing with Kunes. Also the dealership told me they would clean the engine when I got my door fixed and they told me today they are not doing that. I think they never even inspected the vehicle before selling to me . Hopefully I’m safe driving it ! I should of read reviews before my purchase! More

I spoke with Robert on the phone on a Monday to see if I could place a hold on the vehicle until wednesday by leaving a $500 deposit via credit card. Robert said he had to check with his manager. Robert came back to the call and said the $500 down was acceptable. I gave Robert my credit card info, he said he made the charge and a hold is on the vehicle. The next day I checked my bank account and no charge was made or was pending. I called back and spoke with a manager who told me that is not in there policy. I spoke with Robert on Wednesday about taking down my credit card info and the charge/vehicle hold that never happened. Robert kept changing his story saying he didn't take down the credit card number anywhere...then he said he typed it in...then he said he "ripped it up and threw it away". More
Joseph is a fast talker and acts like he really cares about his customers. I was looking for a new Ford Escape as I had totaled my older model the week prior. He was pleasant to work with at first and no about his customers. I was looking for a new Ford Escape as I had totaled my older model the week prior. He was pleasant to work with at first and not too pushy. I realize that "new" vehicles are almost impossible to locate right now but I had specific options in mind and he indicated that he would be able to find me something on one of their other car lots. Initially he said that they could get me the vehicle I wanted in black. I was fine with that. He called me the next day and said that this particular vehicle wasn't available in the short timeframe that I required. He said that he could get me the exact same vehicle in white, but with a light colored interior color scheme. I was worried about it being a dirt magnet but he offered to have it coated with a protectant at Kunes expense (which I agreed to). I was over-the-moon happy at this point. I picked up my new vehicle the next day after test driving it with Joseph and dealing with a very offensive, pushy and too much cologne wearing F & I manager. One of the things that sold me on Kunes was that they supposedly have a lifetime powertrain warranty on all new vehicles purchased through them (this was relayed to me by Joseph). Never once did he mention that I needed to have all of my service performed by their dealership. I live in Kenosha and there's no way that I want to travel all the way to Antioch for service. Also snuck in without my knowledge was a $1299.00 charge for ceramic coating that I never asked for nor wanted. I asked for the window sticker and Joseph printed out a copy for me. I asked for the original and he informed me that it was in the glovebox of my new vehicle. In essence, never once did I have the opportunity to look at it as Joseph kept the copy in his possession. I was only shown a summary of charges, which was where I noticed the ceramic coating charge that I had them delete. I took my new vehicle to the grocery store the next day only to observe while loading my groceries that my new vehicle is not equipped with a towing package. This was one of my main requirements! I was assured that this vehicle came with the towing package! I guess it's my fault too that I didn't inspect the vehicle more thoroughly. I just have the feeling that Joseph knew this all along. Word to the wise...don't let the Christian music playing in their dealership fool you. More
