Some salespeople there are nice but overall all they want to do I continuously xxxx people over with their vehicles and money. They make mistake after mistake which is fine if they would actually admit to their mistakes and then solve them accordingly but they don’t cause they don’t give af about customers they only care about getting their fat paycheck and THATS ALL THEY WANT. DO NOT AND IM BEGGING YOU DO NOT BUY OR DO ANY KINDA OF BUSINESS WITH KUNES OF MACOMB,IL . THEY ARE TERRIBLE. More

Liars plain and simple. Not honest at all. Would avoid at all cost. Bought a car in September of 2022. Here it is April of 2023 and my car still sits at Kunes. Didn’t even m Not honest at all. Didn’t even make it home first day and the engine light was on and car was stalling. Was told to bring it in. They claimed to of had it fixed. Didn’t even make it out of macomb and light on cutting out. Royce the manager then told us he only fixed the O2 sensor but the catalytic converters were still bad. They had it again for a month said it was ready. Same thing engine light on stalling out. Royce then told us he didn’t have to fix it. Even though we had an extended warranty that they did not provide us in the contract paper work. We had to contact the bank to get that information. So again they claimed to of fixed it. First trip to town same thing light on car stalling. We dropped it off April 1 2023 for the 4th time. They have it a month again and have never reached out to let us know what was going on. We call and after numerous attempts to speak to Royce we finally got him. He told us there is no estimated time on when they will have the car fixed but to come get it! So again the car isn’t fixed. The service guy also told us it runs good now because they deleted the codes again lol. So basically that’s how Kunes fixed things is deletes the codes long enough for you to ride out of the dealership without the light on just for it to come on when you make it home. We have tried to work with this dealership. And to no prevail they just continue to lie day in and day out. These people are not honest and have no regards for selling a reliable used vehicle. We feel they knew the catalytic converter was bad the day they sold us the car. Like the technician stated they just delete the code to get the light off. Also in our contract it states we had 15 days to return the car. We tried to return it on the first day and again Royce told us that’s not how it works. They knew they sold us a xxxx car and they absolutely do not care! Royce Evan and Cody are all people I would avoid at this dealership. I have multiple text showing how they claim one thing then turn around days later and lie About what they just sent in a text. All around terrible dealership! We’ve had the car for 8 months the light has been on the whole time. And Kunes is cannot get the problem fixed considering this is the 4th time they have tried and can’t do it again and just tell us to come get a car that stalls out and has a bad catalytic converter. More

I went with my Son , it was horrible at best! They lied about dealer discount , they told us somebody put wrong discount on it . It was on there website on all stores . I plan on making sure we get this stopped ! I hope everyone that has this line used on them contact Jeep directly or me ? This is taught by upper management and they need to be stopped or made to leave industry. The old bait and switch , they have a lot of stories and it’s very poor ethics . DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM Kunes Auto Group of Macomb i bought a 2013 Chevy Equinox in August of 2021. a month after i bought it, it stopped starting. it was in and out of service for 9 months, the 13 mont bought a 2013 Chevy Equinox in August of 2021. a month after i bought it, it stopped starting. it was in and out of service for 9 months, the 13 months i’ve owned it. they kept giving it back to me saying that “it’s started every single day since they got it so there’s no issues,” essentially calling me crazy. i got it back in December of 2021, and it lasted me until February 13, 2022, when my boyfriend and i were trying to leave Davenport, and it would not start. luckily, a family friend mechanic was half an hour away, on his way to Chicago with his lovely wife for a Super Bowl party. he had to essentially hotwire my vehicle so i could get home. i took it back in on February 15, and i did not get it back until AUGUST. they had my vehicle for SIX CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. finally, Erick in service got it fixed for me, which is all i wanted. i have no issues with Erick, he was fantastic and did exactly what i needed him to. well, shortly after i got it back, i noticed the transmission started slipping. granted, i didn’t take it in immediately because i couldn’t afford to fix it. but, found out there was a transmission fluid leak, meaning there was ZERO transmission fluid in the vehicle. it ruined my transmission. we asked for a warranty on the vehicle when we bought it. we thought there was a warranty. xxxx, our salesman thought we had a warranty! however, upon finding out my transmission needed replaced, we also found out we were never given a warranty, so i would have to pay the entire $6000 to replace it. this is where they finally realized they xxxxed up. they told me to get with a sales person to figure out what to do, so i did. unfortunately, i still owe far too much on my vehicle to get a loan to get a new vehicle. they gave me a loaner until i could pay off enough on my car to get a loan. i went in today to figure out what was going on, because i’ve been completely out of the loop for the last two weeks. they took my loaner, because they’re selling it tomorrow! and they don’t have any other loaners on the lot or in service to give me! they really wanted me to pay $40/day for a RENTAL. for issues that aren’t my fault. so i am now without a car, with a boyfriend who also does not have a car and works a 20 minute drive away from home. my dad was going to get the car to see how bad the transmission is, but. they lost my car key. LOST. MY CAR KEY. YOURE A CAR DEALERSHIP. HOW DO YOU LOSE A CUSTOMERS CAR KEY???? More
