I haven’t experienced a dealer as dishonest as Koons Hyundai, they sold me a 2018 Hyundai Tucson for $25,000 with a defective transmission that didn’t last me 30 days, and when I returned the vehicle to Hyundai, they sold me a 2018 Hyundai Tucson for $25,000 with a defective transmission that didn’t last me 30 days, and when I returned the vehicle to them to figure out the problem, they told me that it will take 30 days to get a resolution from Hyundai USA and they then tried to sell me a different car with optional add ons if almost $5,000, at an intererst rate 3% more than the one I had in my previous vehicle. I bought a 2018 Tucson for about $25,000 from salesman Christian Hernandez, with a trade that was valued at $6,500 and an additional downpayment of $2,000 The vehicle did not last 30 days and the transmission would not shift after the first 3 weeks, i retuned it back the dealer in an attempt to get the problem fixed, since the vehicle was certified by the dealer and also around 65,000 miles less than the 100,000 miles that Hyundai’s powertrain warranty guarantees The dealer after diagnosing the car told me that it is going to take 30 days to resolve the problem since they had to get an approval from Hyundai USA to make to fix Since this would have left me stranded after buying a vehicle for almost $25,000 and having to wait for a month without a car, I decided to upgrade to another car since I could not afford to wait for a month without a car The dealer then tried to sell me another used vehicle without giving me any credit for my previous downpayment and trade and still tied to upsell me on additional dealer warranties and add ons of about another $5,000 This is the worst dealer out there with all this dishonesty and preying on poor people. Koons Hundai sold me a vehicle that did not have the emissions test done on it. I had to spend my own time to drive back and get it done in order to get the registration.
