Will not recommend the service department for this dealership. Don't go to Michael Clark for service advisor - not good. The day I was there was just like chaos everywhere. Lots of people complaining about the customer service people, no parts (oil, windshield wipers). Overall, don't go to this place. No rate. More
I brought my car in for a state inspection this morning, 29 July 2023, at 8:00am. I was informed that there was a recall on my vehicle and asked if I would like to take care of the recall. I agreed to get 29 July 2023, at 8:00am. I was informed that there was a recall on my vehicle and asked if I would like to take care of the recall. I agreed to get it taken care of. It was explained that it was a recall on the computer. At approximately 9:30am I was informed that the services were complete and they were sending it to be cleaned up and would be ready in 20-30 mins. I was also informed that there was a tire pressure warning that should clear up after I drove it for a few miles. I was misled. The tire pressure warning was not there when I brought the car in. Nothing I had done on the car had to do with the sensors on the vehicle. I was told to "make an appointment to bring the car back" if the warning light remained on. Of course the warning light stayed on. The most concerning thing to me is that they updated something on the computer and all of the sudden sensors are not working. How do I know that other sensors on the vehicle are not affected? I received my car close to 10:20am. By 10:45am I contacted the dealership via their online messaging system to tell them about my experience and concerns. I was told a manager would contact me shortly. It is currently 4:00pm and no one has contacted me from Koons Woodbridge Hyundai apart from an incredibly tone deaf email about why now is the best time to buy a car from Koons Woodbridge Hyundai. This is extremely frustrating and the Koons Woodbridge Hyundai's Service Department is incredibly unprofessional. I do not recommend using this service center for the most basic and simple maintenance or service issues. Also, it is incredibly unprofessional to ask customers to provide the highest rating on a survey that will be sent to them, which your service center did and has done in the past. The last time I submitted honest feedback on a survey for this location, I was called repeatedly and asked to change my rating. If you want five star ratings, provide five star service. More

After being worked up over that incident and having to call the police they finally found the car. After 3 weeks they returned my vehicle to me in the same condition it was in when i left it with the engine light still turning on and the car shutttinf off on me. i returned the car to be fixed again and now it has been another month and I have not received any information about my car being fixed or if i can even get a rental for the inconveniences. I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. More

I got a recall notice on my car, called dealership and made an appointment. Carried the car in for recall and only told then it would be 4 hours! After 3 hours was told car was ready. I was in the market for a used Santa Fe. I had been looking all over the region when a good friend of mine suggested that I call Ray Williams at Koons Hyundai of Woodbridge. Let me tell you, I had been looking all over the region when a good friend of mine suggested that I call Ray Williams at Koons Hyundai of Woodbridge. Let me tell you, that was the best advice I have received in a long time. From the moment I first spoke with Ray, I knew I had encountered a rare individual. Ray is friendly, personable, intelligent, and product knowledgeable. Ray understood that I was a serious buyer and that I wasn't interested in playing dealership games. Within 2 hours of our initial phone call, Ray provided me with a list of 13 vehicles that matched my specifications. I saw one, a lightly used 2023 Santa Fe SEL, and let Ray know that I wanted to test drive the vehicle. Ray phoned me back that evening to let me know that he had the keys in hand. I made an appointment to see him the next day. I rolled down to the dealership the next morning and Ray was there ready to let me test drive the vehicle. After a short, but dynamic test drive, I knew that I was ready to buy. Ray knew it too. We went into his cubicle and put together a deal that was mutually beneficial. Ray got a sale, I got the car I desired at a price I considered good, and Koons Hyundai of Woodbridge made a little money too. Bottom line, if you're heading to Koons Hyundai of Woodbridge, ask for Ray Williams. The service I received from this individual was not only unprofessional but potentially illegal. During the car buying process, I had a discussion with the finance manager about the mortgage rate. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the rate I was given and mentioned that I was considering obtaining a loan from my bank instead. What followed was a series of manipulative tactics and pressure sales tactics that left me appalled. Despite clearly declining comprehensive coverage multiple times, the finance manager persisted in trying to sell it to me. It became evident that his focus was more on pushing unnecessary add-ons than providing genuine assistance. As I continued to decline the coverage, he became increasingly aggressive and visibly upset, which was completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, the finance manager failed to explain the documents I was signing. It was as if he couldn't wait to get through the process and move on to the next customer. This lack of transparency and disregard for my understanding of the contract is completely unacceptable. Towards the end of our interaction, when I reiterated my refusal of the coverage, the finance manager responded with a sarcastic and disrespectful remark, saying, "Really?" Such unprofessional behavior only further highlighted his incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction. I firmly believe that individuals like this finance manager should not be in positions where they interact with customers. Their aggressive sales tactics, lack of transparency, and disrespectful attitude create an unpleasant and untrustworthy environment for customers. Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from Koons of Woodbridge to proceed with caution. It is important to be wary of this finance manager's unethical practices and ensure that your rights as a consumer are protected. More
