I spoke with sales rep Armando who new i was driving from VA to MD. The car i was going to look at was sold the night before I got there however no one called to tell me. I was on the road two hours before t VA to MD. The car i was going to look at was sold the night before I got there however no one called to tell me. I was on the road two hours before they opened and had to call myself to have a different sales associate tell me it sold. Armando called 45min later to say it sold but we have another one exact same thing, I get up there 5 hours later to find out it wasnt the same thing and it reeked of smoke. I decide to look at a different color which had not arrived yet but according to Armando it was supposed to be there hours before hand. The car shows up 2 hours late after Atmando and Samuel give me the run around about where it was. So basically my day consisted of lies, lies, and inconvienence. I get on the rd to see 50 miles later my tire low pressure light comes on. If my car was inspected properly this wouldnt have happened. I call the next day concerning this to be told by another manager Tim that they do not do full inspections they just look over everything. So what does this tell you about the used cars that leave their lot? Because of this I had to come back to VA and get a full state inspection completed at my own expense because the state inspection tag on the car was dead as of 10/11 although i bought the car in 11/11. The car was to be cleaned by what they claimed was a professional although he must have convienently forgotten to clean the inside roof of the car I was so disgusted at that point and not to mention it was 6pm I was just ready to leave. Rediculous triflen people who work there. I must say Armando did try on certain issues such as trying to get the car their however I believe they all were up to no good just trying to make a dollar, although I missed work at my full an part time job because of the inconvinence they caused me. I have the car but cannot enjoy it because I am so livid at how the situation went down and nothing was offered to help make it better except a paid lunch that they never paid for. I do not reccomend this place to anyone. Unless you have all day and are willing to deal with that type of customer service. Since I bought my vehicle I had to return to Maryland to have my door panel replaced. Although it was a hassle, General Sales Manager Samuel understood the inconvenience and worked with me as far as having me return to the dealership at no cost to me. The panel was fixed correctly, my car was cleaned, and my gas tank was filled up. So in addition to my last review I would like to say that I am pleased with the effort put forward to make me as a ccustomer happy. As far as recommending this dealership I would recommend it to local residences. More

I was in the market for a used truck, and decided to just check out what kind of inventory Koons had in stock. Upon arriving(at about dusk may I add), my wife and I were greeted by Dave Lawrence, whom which check out what kind of inventory Koons had in stock. Upon arriving(at about dusk may I add), my wife and I were greeted by Dave Lawrence, whom which was upbeat, personable, and friendly. Dave went to great measures to figure out the some after-market additions (a remote start,and hard tonneu cover), and when I told him don't worry about it, he stopped me and said no, we are going to figure this out(even with our time constraint at this time). A statement like that let me know I was in good hands, and I bought the vehicle that night! Within a couple days the door handle broke,and I received a prompt appointment with Brian Quinn (a very courteous and PROFESSIONAL service rep.), in which it was fixed the next day. Unfortunatly on my way home, I had noticed another issue which was fixed in the same timely manner. Upon receiving my vehicle this time, I have to say I was very dissapointed/angered with the craftsmanship of the repair. I took the vehicle back immediatly.Upon arrival I had immediatly asked for a manager, and I was introduced to John Wyant. I expressed my displeasure with what had been done to my vehicle (and maybe I wasn't that nice);John did not break composure and maintained his professionalism.John assured me everything would be taken care of, and even with the needed staff unavailable, John attempted to correct some of it himself, while I was making an appointment to correct the problem (that's customer service).While my truck was being fixed, I had a misunderstanding with the service manager on how the issue was being handled, and it went back and forth. This is where Sam Somaribba (sales manager) comes into play. At first I was apprehnsive, thinking he was just some pretty boy car salesman, but I was actually taken back by his knowledge on my situation. Sam and I talked briefly, and he just bluntly told me, I take care of my customers don't worry, it will be taken care of(thanks for taking care of me). Much to my surprise when I picked my vehicle up I was totally satisfied with the work, and they teven used Factory parts, not some cheap OEM knockoff. Bottom line is that when the tough got going, the going got tough. Koons realized the misunderstanding, and were more than willing to correct the mistake. More
First of all the General Manager was outstanding. He was very friendly, patient and applied no pressure. He and Darryl took care of the deal which also helped to minimize the wait....know body likes to wait very friendly, patient and applied no pressure. It was truly great customer service, they wanted to ensure I was happy with what I purchased and the service I received. My overfall experience with Gary was awsome He is a friendly well educated salesman. He went out of his way to make my deal happen. The test drive was great interstate, back roads, parking lots close t friendly well educated salesman. He went out of his way to make my deal happen.
