I purchased my new Jeep Liberty (which I love!) in August, 2011. The Jeep is great, the dealership has provided me with one of the worst experiences I've had when purchasing a vehicle and this is my August, 2011. The Jeep is great, the dealership has provided me with one of the worst experiences I've had when purchasing a vehicle and this is my 9th purchase! (My first and last purchase with Koons). My sales consultant was Omar Shawish. I specifically told him what I was looking for prior to coming into Koons. He assured me that they had the exact vehicle I wanted and so I went to the dealership the next day to purchase it. Once I got to the dealership he tried to have me test drive vehicles that were not the same as what I wanted and of course I found out that they did not have my desired vehicle in stock. I wasn't too sure why he lied to me, but I should have taken that as a warning sign and looked elsewhere. I ended up purchasing a vehicle through Koons that was in Pennsylvania (it was what I was looking for). Prior to my purchase I was told that an incentive for buying a new Jeep is that I was to receive free oil changes for life at any Jeep dealership. It was important that Omar verify with me that it was infact ANY Jeep dealership as I do not live close to the Koons dealership. He did in fact confirm with me that it was ANY dealership. Today I took my Jeep in for it's first oil change and wouldn't you guess...it's not free. It's not even an offer that Jeep makes with their new vehicles. I call Omar to speak with him about it and he "doesn't recall" telling me that I was to receive free oil changes. I spoke to his general manager - Brian Murray (not sure if that is the correct spelling) to complain about my experience with Omar and all Brian had to say to me was "We don't really get a lot of complaints about Omar." Well Brian, you were getting one when I was speaking to you and you didn't want to hear it. Buyer beware! I love my Jeep but I'll never do business with that dealership again. More
These guys ROCK! I came in without an appointment and asked for an oil change. I also mentioned a noise that kept bugging me. Well imagine my level of excitement when my service advisor approached me in the customers’ lounge to report on the progress. The tech (Mr. Battle I believe his name was. Pardon me if I am mistaken) was finishing up with the service and he DID find where the noise was coming from! The guys were also thoughtful enough to check for any open recalls and there was one for my jeep that hadn’t been performed yet!!! Way to ‘wow’ me (notwithstanding the fact that I wasn’t even half-way done with my cup of coffee haha!!!)!! All things considered, I am an utterly happy jeep guy now!!!!!! We visited Koons to see the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit. We wanted to see the vehicle and see all the features but our intent was not to buy a car that day. Shaun Barnard was very helpful in explaining the features of the Jeep. He lives and dies with the Jeep brand. He was not pushy in completing a sale but we became more and more interested. After a few hours of reviewing the Grand Cherokee, we knew we wanted this vehicle but we were not sure if Koons would be the dealer. Shaun worked with us well and was very fair. I have now bought two different Jeeps this year from two different dealers. My impression of car salesmen has improved with these experiences. I hope there are more people like Shaun. He made the experience very positive. More
I have nothing but absolute praise for the level of service Shaun provided from the start. He was very up front and went the extra mile to ensure that everything went smoothly. I originally contacted Shaun through an information request about a 2011 Grand Cherokee at their location. He responded immediately and was able to answer my basic questions without asking his 'manager'. The first indicator that Shaun is like no other was when I told him I was not able to come in to view the vehicle for two days because of my schedule, to which Shaun offered to bring it by my house for a personal showing, that very night. Who knew that level of service still existed! Shaun went over every detail of the cars design and capabilities, along with its history and how the competitors compared. He spent over an hour walking around the outside explaining everything and an additional thirty-minutes inside. Shaun is a true car and Jeep enthusiast and knows not only the basics but a level of detail I have never seen in a car salesman. As an example, never once did Shaun open or have to refer to a manual for any details as he knew them off hand! He clearly knows his stuff and will bend over backwards to ensure the process is enjoyable, you get what you want, on good terms, and (best of all) you get Shaun for the life of the vehicle as a point of contact for any and everything you could ever imagine. I will always compare future car salesman to Shaun and will admit, I know I will be disappointed because he has set the bar so high. Go to Shaun, or go home disappointed! More

They were quick to respond to my email inquiry. Upon visiting the dealship, the salesman was upfront, honest and consistant with what he had discussed and quoted via email and phone conversation. Betsy Stuckey was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and down to earth. She quoted us a fair price up front without trying to stick it to us. I came in for my very first oil change and was waiting for it to be complete. I was approached by David Ehlert about my Jeep and how the oil had spilled on to the skid plate and some of the engine. David informed me that he could have it cleaned up in a few minutes, or I could get a rental car for the day and he would have my Jeep detailed. Well needless to say, I took the rental car and detail. I was first blown away by Dave's honesty. I'm sure that they could have not said anything and I may not have even noticed the oil being spilled. secondly, I was blown away by the detail job they did on my Jeep. They thoroughly steam cleaned the engine, vacuumed and wiped down the interior of the Jeep, as well as polishing the exterior. Man it looked sharp. Then to top it all off. I wasn't charged a penny for the oil change. That is GREAT SERVICE... Not to mention. I later noticed that they had taken out the storage cover in the rear trunk area, to do a thorough cleaning, and forgot to put it back. I called and spoke with David and he had a BRAND NEW one sent to the shop the very next day for me. These guys are GREAT and have made a loyal customer out of me.
