I took my recently purchased 2021 Bronco Sport to Koons for an open recall/60,000 mile check up. I will never go back. They did an oil change (that the service manager and I agreed did not need to be done, for an open recall/60,000 mile check up. I will never go back. They did an oil change (that the service manager and I agreed did not need to be done, since I had one done 3 weeks prior); of course I got charged for it. They replaced the battery (but failed to update it in the Carfax report) as part of the recall. I realized several days later that the battery was NOT bolted into place, which was extremely irresponsible, and incredibly dangerous. Finally, I had my air filter replaced, and they knocked my air intake sensor loose, causing my check engine light to come on. Overall this was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing service appointment. More

I had an appointment for 8am. There seemed to be confusion if I even had an appointment. Around noon, I checked with my designated service representative in which they jumped thro There seemed to be confusion if I even had an appointment. Around noon, I checked with my designated service representative in which they jumped through hoops to get my truck pulled in for service. I was the last one in the waiting room after every other customer had gone and left. It was obvious that my appointment was overlooked for forgotten. The gentleman handling checkin sincerely apologized. I haven't had an issue at Leonardtown Ford nor at Koons Ford of Baltimore. The other locations get me in on-time and out within 1 to 1.5 hours tops. I don't see why I should return to this location. I've been a Ford owner since 2017.
