Kirby Kia Service Team - you never cease to amaze me. If ever I needed a reminder as to why I hold all of you in such high regard, my experience today made it crystal clear. I had an unfortunate and frig ever I needed a reminder as to why I hold all of you in such high regard, my experience today made it crystal clear. I had an unfortunate and frightening overheating incident earlier this afternoon, which left me on the side of the road with a car that wouldn't start and a plume of smoke emanating from my engine compartment. I've had a few years of experience with Dave Howard, so as soon as the tow truck arrived at Kirby Kia, he went out to inspect my vehicle himself and within moments, had a diagnosis for me. Apparently, my radiator hose had come off and coolant had sprayed all over my engine components. A few minutes later, Dave Rudolph - the service manager - arrived and pleasant greetings were exchanged, as I'd spoken with him at length a few visits ago. After hearing of my car trouble, he was genuinely concerned and sought to have a technician get to work on my vehicle immediately. At face value, none of this sounds all that impressive. But, what you cannot see in these words is the COMPASSION and EMPATHY with which I was treated today. It's difficult to explain, but in everything that these gentlemen did and said this afternoon, it was made clear that their main concern was my safety and satisfaction...not my bankbook. I was frightened and worried sick when I arrived at Kirby's Service Center, because ANYTIME you see smoke coming from your engine, fear naturally sets in - but I left there feeling better than when I came, and that is the sign of truly excellent customer service. Dave Rudolph and Dave Howard are extraordinary businessmen, but are even greater human beings. It takes a special kind of grace and empathy to do the job that they do, because a person's vehicle is among the most important assets they have and connects us to our jobs and our travels, but in times of distress and uncertainty - much like I experienced today - it means the world to know that my vehicle, and my concerns, are in capable and caring hands. To anyone looking for quality automobile service and a caring staff of individuals, I gladly recommend Kirby Kia Service Center. Most will read this review and think: "Wow, this is a bit over the top." But considering how eager we are to rant and rave and raise our voices in protest anytime we are dissatisfied with something, I feel it is of equal importance to exercise that same energy and effort in our gratitude. Far too often, we complain about lousy and xxxx-poor customer service, and then completely neglect showing any sort of gratitude for those rare and special few who go above and beyond for our sake. But I believe that appreciation encourages the heart and lifts the spirit, and for so many service employees who work day after day without ever hearing a single word of acknowledgement, it means the world. It lets them know that the work that they do truly matters. To Dave & Dave - I thank you, and I am truly grateful for you both. I am proud and privileged to say that the two of you are what makes Kirby Kia's Service Center truly great. Keep up the good work and you can expect my continued patronage for years to come!! More

In the past year I have purchased three new cars from Kirby of Ventura, and never will I purchase a car from any other Dealership. My goal is to sell as many cars for Lou as I possibly can.
