I hate noises! My wife had complained about a rattling noise for weeks and I finally took it in to Kip Killmon for the dreaded "where's it coming from". Mike Shaffe My wife had complained about a rattling noise for weeks and I finally took it in to Kip Killmon for the dreaded "where's it coming from". Mike Shaffer went with me for a test drive and he identified the noise, its likely source and suggested a remedy. New spark plugs helped, but the noise persisted (the Jeep is 11 years old and has 277,000 miles on it). Checking further, he found that the U-joint was bad and explained that that could be responsible for the noise. In short order the crew found a new U-joint and it was installed. A subsequent test drive was so quiet I thought I might be in the wrong vehicle. Were it not for Mike's experience and knowledge, my wife might still be unhappy with the noises. Thankfully, she is not! More

More little things Took my F-150 in for the state inspection and the mechanic, Will Breedlove, found that the rubber brake lines were dry, crack and "swollen". Fearing that they may rupture at any time, thus rendering my truck without brakes, I had them replaced. Were it not for Will's diligence and expertise, I might have had an awful experience down the road. Thanks, Will. Re-Inspection I was in to have my Mustang inspected last week, but there was a problem with the idle arm being worn, causing the car to drift on the road. A new on I was in to have my Mustang inspected last week, but there was a problem with the idle arm being worn, causing the car to drift on the road. A new one was ordered and it was installed today in good time and the car passed the inspection with flying colors. Thank you Dan Zadory and Mike Shaffer.
