My daughter Christy wrecked her car and we were looking for a nice used car. We had gone to the dealer "across the street" from them before and in my opinion were treated poorly. We bought a car from the "other" dealership but the sales person we dealt with was more concerned about himself than us. Before we even signed papers(or while we were signing them) he was waiting on several customers so that he didn't lose them or their money. The price of the vehicle was not very good because he didn't bother to go down on the price and the only thing we got out of the deal was a set of four mudflaps. Whoopee!! That saleman played several games with us while directly and indirectly avoiding our questions. The only reaso we bought there the last time was because my daughter wanted that car and was "sick" of looking around. When we contacted Kinney Motors this time, Matt Beaulieu called us and left a nice message. We contacted him back and then visited the dealership. He was extremely friendly towards us and we felt like we were not being pressured. Matt gave us his full attention and when we found out that we couldn't really afford the vehicle,Matt and Kinney Motors stepped up to the plate and lowered the price so we could afford it! He did not want to lose us as a customer and that made us feel "special." Doesn't everyone want to feel that way? When the time came to sign the the paperwork, my father was ill that day and could not make it in,so Matt and Kinney Motors made it possible for my daughter to get that car by actually driving us out to my dad's house so he could co-sign the loan. Outstanding! My daughter needed this car ASAP because she had hit a patch of black ice with her old car and totaled it and the insurance company wasn't going to cover a rental car any longer.Donna the F&I manager was wondeful to work with as well as Karen as she introduced us to the service part of the dealership and was very professional and polite. The whole buying experience there was wonderful and I would highly recommend this dealership who is looking for a quality used car. Of course with the wonderful products they have,it's a win-win situation for everybody. We will definitely go to Kinney Motors when it is time for a new car. Kinney Subarau, in Rutland, VT responded almost immediately and I arranged for a visit the next day. I was impressed with the total teamwork support: from the Part/Service center-who installed with alacrity two accessories which I requested prior to closing the deal on a pre-owned car. The dealer price was great, service was excellent; and importantly, the salesperson handled efficiently, and promptly all my requests in a very professional and patient manner. I would highly recommend ANYONE who is interested in purchasing a Subaru to visit Kinney Subaru because of their very customer-oriented outreach to satisfy the customer. Often you are hassled over price, details, and never get to a negotiated agreement without some tension, back-and-forth dialogue that leaves you somewhat numbed by the experience of buying a car.Not so, with the folks at Kinney. I truly believe that they will give any prospective car buyer, whether it be for a new or pre-owned (used) car a fair market/dealer price. And their service appears to be excellent. More
Bought my most recent Forester new at Kinney's in 2005. Have always had it serviced there. They're friendly and accommodating... give rides to work and back to the dealership if car is left off for day. Th Have always had it serviced there. Waiting area is clean, comfortable and pleasant. They tell you exactly what needs doing, what should be done, what can wait, etc. and always explain it. The repairs they did have always taken care of the problem. Once they found something they overlooked- they told me about it and made it right. I trust them. There may be places who know what they're doing who might do it for a little less, but I wouldn't be willing to take that chance. Kinney Subaru gets my 'thumbs up'! More

I have been to other local Subaru dealerships in the past and have never been eager to return. I originally went the Rutland location because of a sudden malfunction with my Subaru and now I travel to make s and have never been eager to return. I originally went the Rutland location because of a sudden malfunction with my Subaru and now I travel to make sure my car gets serviced there. Brian and the staff are always professional, accommodating, timely, fair and honest. I know very little about cars except how to fill up the tank and get to point A and point B. Brian is always pro-active about making sure my car is running well, and safe for me to drive. My 2006 Subaru Forrester has about 142,000 miles on it and it will only be serviced by Kinney in Rutland. I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle with them and will continue to be a loyal customer. More
