poor business practices i just had the displeasure of working with a dealer named Gary Warman. I drove to see a car I had been in contact with him about for days. I get to the dealer, get the car, test drive it, and decide I liked it enough to take it to a mechanic just outside the dealership. I get a diagnostic for the car only to find out by him calling me on my cell phone that he had sold the car while I had it. I had to pay for the diagnostic check anyway and return the car. I get there obviously upset and he tells me he had no commitment, even though he had called while I was waiting in the shop to tell me someone else was interested and told me it was fine since I had the car first and I informed him that I was indeed very interested. He then said it was first come first serve. I would think by me being there first, being in the car, and being at the mechanic would be first come first serve. He said I would be reimbursed via check for the diagnostic and we left. I will be letting everyone know of these greedy shady business practices. More

We test drove the truck on Friday evening and the sales rep called us the next morning to negotiate price and they had everything ready for us when we arrived. It only took 1 hour that day to sign papers, take a tour of the maintenance facility and set up the fancy radio. We got a great deal and the sales people were friendly and professional. We will definitely be back to purchase our next vehicle. More

The Slow Death of Customer Service No one could tell me tentatively how long it would take to perform the service work on the recall. I was never given a straight answer. I was asked, " No one could tell me tentatively how long it would take to perform the service work on the recall. I was never given a straight answer. I was asked, "when do you need it." What kind of question is that? I, and like most other customers, need my vehicle as soon as it can be ready. A simple conservative estimate would probably suffice. Under-promise and over-deliver. Isn't that customer service 101? No one ever answered the phone (or answers for that matter based off past experiences) when trying to call several times to check if it was ready almost five hours later. I inititiated several chats online with service, but no one responds, so it's fair to say that is not monitored. I finally had someone drop me off and was just going to wait, but luckily, my vehicle was ready yet no one called me. I am not going to fault any one person on the service staff. It most likely comes from their leadership. It is obvious that the volume of customers is too much for the staff and/or there is a lack of empathy for customers; that is abundantly clear. If Northgate Jeep wasn't so far away, I would go there because they have been so fast and professional with me in the past. I pray I never have another recall (which I know is bottom of the list of priorities). I am just one person, but I highly doubt I am the first to provide this feedback and I hope it changes for the benefit of your customers and organization. More
