They are willing to help with anything you need but will also just let you browse around without trying to give you the hard sale. Dave Campbell was the salesman who sold me my 2016 Kia Sorento and he made the experience fun, painless, and an overall pleasure. He was very helpful with any questions. I would recommend anybody I know to Dave. The sales manager Steve was also very helpful and they are willing to work with you to get you into your new car. I'll definitely be going back in the future. More

Excellent service, very helpful. I received absolutely excellent service from this dealership. Chris Weyer was the salesman and he wasn't at all pushy but answered any questions I had I received absolutely excellent service from this dealership. Chris Weyer was the salesman and he wasn't at all pushy but answered any questions I had. What he couldn't answer the other persons I dealt with were able to answer. The lock they put on the vehicles so people can't break in had buggered up the rubber around the window and rather than just leave it that way or make another appointment they checked with the service department to see if another rubber was in stock. They did have one and the service tech came right out and removed the faulty one and put a new one on within a matter of minutes. The only disappointment was there was only one key/remote and they had to order another which I will have to go back and pickup because it will need to be programmed to the vehicle. So far I have no complaints and have high praise for the vehicle as on the way home I got 46 mpg. I sure hope this continues. This was a slightly used vehicle but with a new warranty because of the mileage that was on it. Vehicle purchased was a Mitsubishi Mirage. More

Have bought two vehicles between the first Kia and this one and neither experience was as pleasant as this and the first Kia purchase. Great people, great service, great vehicle. I had specific questions about KIA’s purchase, lease and trade in processes that Chris was able to address which enabled me to make an informed decision. Chris took the time to discuss what I was looking for in a vehicle. When I left the dealership I felt like I had received a fair price on both my purchase and trade-in. Everyone I interacted with from sales to financing was professional and friendly. This is 4th KIA purchase and KIA of DSM is great to work with. More
Service experience OK but sales service is flawed. I bought 5 cars form Kia of Des Moines and never will again. I love how they sold me a car telling me what great resell and trade in value it would h I bought 5 cars form Kia of Des Moines and never will again. I love how they sold me a car telling me what great resell and trade in value it would have then when I went to trade it back to them they offered $3K less than Stew Hansens who bought it outright without a trade. All they were concerned about was what I owed and how they could get me in another new Kia (with negative equity of course). Stews gave me what I owed - no questions asked. During this transaction the sales manager was incredibly rude and quite frankly a jerk. Then I learned that that I would have to pay a Disposition fee to turn in my other Kia which I was leasing yet NO ONE from this terrible dealer ever mentioned that fee. My Kia Optima especially was a great car but these guys are the types of people that give car dealers a bad name. Rude and most worst of all not even remotely honest More
When I came into the dealership, I gave Chris very specific instructions on how I like the car buying experience to go. He let me take the lead and was respectful of my time. Most importantly, he understood I was buying this car, not my husband. Chris asked questions but never tried to push me into a decision. When I was ready to make my choice, I was able to sign the paperwork in less than 15 minutes! It took longer to detail the car for me!!! The whole process from walking into the dealership to driving away with my car was about 1 1/2 hours. Not too bad considering I test drove 3 autos!! Thanks Chris for a painless and fun (wait, did I say that?) experience! More
Doubled cost of service/oil change. I prefer to have the dealership service my vehicle but this dealership just convinced me I will not continue this practice. We purchased our first KIA at a Kansas dealership where there were multiple competing KIA dealerships. I assume this helped prevent the greed we now have encountered at this dealership. Perhaps their greed be better controlled if there was another local KIA competitive dealer in the Des Moines area. More
Our first visit was to just feel out what's on the market and we had no intention of buying. They tried talk us into buying anyway but we left without the " best deal". After doing our research and test driving cars and SUV's of several brands, we decided to go back and take a look at a Sportage.We decided that we have a higher budget available and went into the delaership, this time with the intent of buying. The Sales guy we worked with previously was very rude, as we did not buy the first time, we gathered. After test driving the Sportage and wantig to make an offer we were told that was " out of reach and not in our budget"??. No asking if our budget had increased ect ect. We left and bought a Toyota instead were we received excellent service!! Kia...NEVER AGAIN!! More
