Kia of Des Moines

We took my sons car in that he purchased from a smaller dealership to have them fix a service light. They said there wasn't anything wrong with it and shut the light off. As soon as we picked it up the lig dealership to have them fix a service light. They said there wasn't anything wrong with it and shut the light off. As soon as we picked it up the light came back. Took it back to the dealer that we got it from. They said they would take it back to the Kia dealer to have the engine replaced. A week later when we picked it up the light came back on. So we took it back to the dealer and they called Kia to see if they replaced the engine. They said they only fixed the exhaust leak. I WILL NEVER BUY A KIA OR DEAL WITH THIS DEALER AGAIN!!!! More

Dealership has reached out and has resolved this with us. This only reflects the service departments level of professionalism, not the sales dept. Service manager Dave would not review the repair - told it was safe to drive vehicle. 1 week later vehicle blew an engine that another Kia dealer told was possible the result of the fix not being completed competently. Dave from Kia of Des Moines would not even discuss this issue. This was one of several poor experiences with the service department. More
