Service I recently had an issue with a noise coming from the suspension/Axle area one evening. I went to the service center 7am next morning and without an appointment I was told they would do there best to see me when the mechanics started at 8am. They took my vehicle, checked it and found the problem what needed a part ordered, and I was on my way by 10am. The service here at Kia Sherman Oaks was courteous, friendly and fast, and it has been each and every time I have had to use them in the 18 months i have had my new vehicle. Not only am I happy with the Optima, but Kia has the service and staff to back it up. More

I did research before buying and they refused to believe the quotes I brought them. Because of time constraints, I needed a car and went with this dealer. Much to my chagrin now, because not only did I find a better price at other local dealerships even when they assured me this was the "best" they could do, but my car has been serviced so far 4 times in the 6 months I've owned the vehicle. I had to PAY out of my own pocket for additional fees, when it was supposed to be fully covered and they WASTED SO MUCH OF MY TIME. At every step of the way they were unapologetic, not understanding in the slightest. They didn't respond to phone calls or messages that I left in person. The manager was always out. They offered no concessions or compassion for the way they wasted my time and money. More
I feel that this service center does not inspire confidence. It is too small, too crowded, and I felt very uncertain if the mechanics had top quality training. It was an unprofessional feeling, and although I brought my car in because I ran over something in the road that caused 2 flat tires, I didn't feel confident that the replacement of the tires (which were not in stock, so I had to rent a car for the day) was followed with certainty that everything else under the car was in good shape. I have never dealt with a service de- partment that made me feel so uncertain because no one with expertise really spoke to me about what was done or needed doing. I took my 2013 Kia Optima SX for brakes squeaking and front lift and right click noise Very bad job and customer service, took more than a one month to get a loaner car I had to call 15 times live messag front lift and right click noise Very bad job and customer service, took more than a one month to get a loaner car I had to call 15 times live messages never return my calls ask for the manager got call back after 5 hours from Manny he told he has a loaner car ready for me went there after couple hours he told me sorry the battery is dead on the vehicle is going to take half an hour to change the battery past more than an hour he came back and told me that thy got the wrong battery and thy can not give me a loaner car he told me he will give me a call back tomorrow to put me in a loaner car but he never did wait for a week call back ask for the manager instead of the managers he pick up the phone he told me come over so I can put you in a rental car my car still makes the squeaking noise and the click noise sometimes, I will never go back there thy got the worst customer service. I brought my 2011 Kia Sportage in to get some brake sensors replaced. I also have a chip in the roof railing. All repairs were done under warranty. The staff was excellent and did a great job. I got a free car quickie car wash and was on my way to work in a few hours. My four visits to the Kia service department so far have been far superior to experiences at other dealers in the Valley. This was my second service 10K Mi. of my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid. They even accepted another dealers discount coupon which was sent to me. I was in and out in 45 minutes. By the time I finished looking at the new models I received a call telling me my car was ready. Everyone in the service department is pleasant and the facility, although small was very clean. Since joing the Kia family It has been a wondeful experience. Every one is so happy to make my experience with Kia wonderful.
