Congratulations Kia South Atlanta. You won the award for the very worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a dealership. EVER. We took our Soul in for a recall on September You won the award for the very worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a dealership. EVER. We took our Soul in for a recall on September 13 for a battery recall and a stereo issue, and you had it for over two and a half weeks. You lost our car key, and did nothing to fix the battery recall. We picked it up October 3, with only the stereo repaired. Over five months later you finally reached out to us for the battery recall repair. We picked it up February 27, and the battery failed outright on March 23. When we called your service department, you refused to come and pick it up and tow it to your dealership even though it is not safe to drive, and will not even reimburse for the expense of getting it towed. We love our Soul, but this will probably be the last Kia we will buy if this is the kind of customer service we can expect from your brand. More
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Disappointed customer here! I went to get my oil change done as I bought my car from Kia in September. I put in the wrong address for the Kia dealership. There are two Kia south in morrow and Kia south in union city. Upon arriving I advised the mechanic I was at the wrong Kia dealership, but I came for my first oil change, I was told I got a free oil change under my warranty. I asked him if it would still be honored. He said yes. I arrived to get my car, the service advisor jamaal lucas gave me my car keys and then Next thing I know I am being charged $93!!!! I did not come prepared to pay. As I was under the impression I got my oil change for free. I advised the cashier I needed to step way to 1. Call my original dealership and 2. Get someone to send me $100. My mother came with me for the oil change and we went to breakfast. I was sitting in her car while on the phone to the dealership. Jamaal lucas came to my window asking for me to give my keys back until I paid. ??? Accusing me that I was going to leave with my car without paying . I told him I was speaking to union City Kia and I would be in to pay in a minute. Few minutes later, the cashier came out knocking on my window with attitude saying I had to give her my keys back before I paid. I advised her I was coming inside to pay that I was on the phone, and I will be inside to pay in just a moment . The cashier then told me she is the service supervisor and I have to give her my keys! I repeated myself again telling her I am coming back inside to pay. I NEVER PLANNED ON LEAVING WITHOUT PAYING. Why did the service advisor give me back the keys if they were going to be harassing me outside the building about giving them back the keys? Why are you going to accuse a customer of leaving without paying when they have told you repeatedly that she is going to pay? Why would you tell a customer at the beginning that her warranty will be honored, then charge her unexpectedly $93 for an oil change. When she could’ve just gone to Kia union City and got it for free? SKETCHY! UNPROFFESIONAL! SCAMMERS!!!!! It what kia south is!!!!!!! More
I came in like 1-2hrs before closing completely distraugt over a car & DJ and the rest of that awesome team stayed until 11 with me to ensure i’d be leaving there with a car. Kia ATL South became bad overnight and the service manager is to blame my opinion. He is unprofessional lying and accusing. If I could do a zero I would! !! I went to get the oil changed and my rain guard over the windows had cracked I got the cost of $228 for parts and $348 to install so do the math $5 !! This place is a joke I will add another post to tell you about my Kia SOUL that has had regular oil changes but just slightly over 100,000 that's when they tell you that the car is consuming the oil and Kia has no fix... the story will continue. Was going to get gas and I looked over and saw kia dealership. Pulled in and was met by sales guy Maurice told him I needed to use restroom first. After my return I met the GM mike and Corporate guy dealership. Pulled in and was met by sales guy Maurice told him I needed to use restroom first. After my return I met the GM mike and Corporate guy Ray. After telling them my plan on what I was looking for, not only did I purchase 2 car but 2 from them. The GM was great explaining they just bought the dealership and wanted all current ND new customers to have the best experience ever. Well he did just that. That's why we bought 2 new kids from them. If you are looking for and great experience then go buy from mike and his Team at kia south atl.morrow location. Again thanks guys. More

The receptionist who is African American with blonde hair and wears glasses is so rude. I brought my car to be serviced for 4 recalls. Corey who works the sales department was so sweet and professional. He is about the only one who has any customer service skills there. He advised me that the car would be ready today 8/10/23. When I called to check the status. The receptionist was rude and did not try and assist with just providing the information if the car was ready or not. I then requested to speak with her leadership Aaron Caulsey and he was just as rude. It takes nothing to be kind and polite to people. When I don’t know something, I don’t just say, “I don’t know, I can’t help you”. That is horrible customer service experience. In the end all I wanted to know was the status of my vehicle. It’s not the fact that it wasn’t ready. I can deal with that. It’s just the communication for me. I will NEVER come back to this place again. It should be shut down. I will be contacting corporate regarding this matter. More
Went to Kia Atlanta South Dealership May 2021. Worked with car salesman Jawan “Juan” Powell. Test drove and liked a 2022 Kia Sportage, color Black Cherry. I asked about a used Kia Sportage on the lot but Jawan advised that I should not buy that car because it had a lot of mechanical problems and many paint chips that made the car an eye sore. The car did look to be in bad shape. On May 22nd I decided to buy the 2022 Kia Sportage, contacted Jawan via text message and he advised that the car was still there. Jawan suggested I check into Delta Community Credit Union for financing. He sent a link to my cellphone for a DCCU application to open a checking/savings. He would receive $100 for the referral and I would receive $50. After setting up a checking/savings account with DCCU, I filled out an application for a car loan. I did not like their interest rate. I decided to fill out an application with Kia South Atlanta for car financing. On May 23rd, I sent Jawan a text message asking if the 2022 Kia Sportage had the Nightfall package. He said it did. ***Note: The car sold on this date to another buyer. He does not say one word about the sell. May 24th, Jawan sent me the Kia application for financing via a text message link which I completed. Jawan said they were about to close so my application would be run the next day. May 25th @12:03pm, I asked Jawan to send me a picture of the window sticker display for the car with all the information (*this is key)… He never sent the picture…. @3:21pm I sent Jawan my personal information needed to complete the finance application. @5:51pm Jawan asked if I would be putting any money down and I said No. @6:00pm Jawan stated via text: “He is submitting it now he just had to fill in the blanks” @6:05pm Jawan called me and said I’m sorry but the car has been sold. I could not believe what I was hearing. We had been in close contact about the car over the last 3 days. He said the car was still available. I hung up the phone. I knew this meant he was going to try and hit me up to buy another car on the lot. He calls my phone back to back to back. I do not answer. Get this….he says “I had no idea the vehicle wasn’t there my manager said we have another but we found out it has a couple paint chips on it and didn’t want to sale it until we get some touch up paint on it I have been totally honest with you this entire ordeal.” I mean, how do these people sleep at night. Professional liars!!!! He forgot he told me not to buy the car with the paint chips but all he wanted to do was sell a car so he could EAT. If I had known the car was sold, I would have never completed the financial application. They only had one new Kia Sportage on the lot. Jawan said “We have not pulled your credit nor submitted it yet…FYI” He said he was a great loving guy with the most impeccable morals…Then he says, “I understand you’re mad but just remember who was pushing you not to give us an app this was YOUR IDEA not mine.” What does my Kia financial application have to do with him lying about the car being available for purchase? I said, “Now I know you are sick, Covering your xxx, Goodbye, Please advise your coworkers not to run my credit at all.” Jawan again says, “An on top of that I still haven’t ran your credit ma’am if you don’t get that I’m sorry have a blessed day.” On 05/27/23, I got an email from Jawan stating we understand you would like for us to run your credit in order to purchase a car. Thank you for your application. This was his way of getting back at me. Since you are not going to allow me to use you…since you are not going to buy a car at all…. Screw you!!! I am going to run your credit anyway just to annoy the xxxx out of you with inquiries. Enter this dealership at your own risk!! More
