Best Hyundai Service Department hands down!!! I took my car in for a blind-spot monitor issue and sunroof noises. I had taken it to another dealership in the city, wont say name but they're in the I took my car in for a blind-spot monitor issue and sunroof noises. I had taken it to another dealership in the city, wont say name but they're in the Westside of town. They had my car for 3 weeks for the same issues and were not able to fix it. They claimed they "fixed" it, but didn't do anything but scratch up the paint of my car and reinstalled the bumper incorrectly. After that headache, I came here and they were very professional, Mrs. Sharon was awesome and courteous, she took good care of me and my vehicle, keeping me informed thoughout the whole process. Best of all, i had my car back the next day and everything was fixed. By the way, the blindspot monitor had water in it and was rusted, if the other dealership wouldve actually paid attention, they wouldve found this issue. I will definitely be returning to Key Hyundai and I recommend them to everyone needing service. More

Sharon Norman is a Breath of Fresh Air I find all of the service advisors very friendly but Sharon has such a warm and down home charming demeanor that you almost don’t think you are at a c I find all of the service advisors very friendly but Sharon has such a warm and down home charming demeanor that you almost don’t think you are at a car service center. She greets you warmly and has a bubbly personality. The only issue I had was convincing the parts department that a Genesis Key Card and the mechanical key insert was available for my 2016 Genesis Sedan. Their data base as I was told did not show the item available for this car. I supplied the credit card style key fob which I had just purchased from Hyundai so it obviously is available. This dealership programmed it and it operates flawlessly. However an emergency mechanical key insert has to be ordered and laser cut separately. The mechanical key slips inside the credit card key fob. This is where my issue came in. The parts department said a mechanical key was not available for this 2016 Genesis Sedan. I knew this not to be true. I called another Genesis dealership and was even given the part number for the mechanical key. I gave this information to the Key Parts Department. They were very skeptical. They looked up the part number and saw it was indeed a mechanical key but insisted it may not work with my vehicle because it was not listed in there data base. These keys are cut using the vin number of the vehicle. I want to state that at no time were they rude to me. They just kept insisting that it may not work. I called the second Genesis dealership again and they assured me it would work because it is an accessory and not treated the same as a part. Again the key is cut using your vin number. If there is no vin number on file there is no key to cut. I called Key Parts again and advised them that I wanted the key. They had no problem ordering it but advised there was no guarantee it would work. I said “order it anyway” and I will take the chance. If it works (which I was certain it would), great. If it did not work I would accept an eighty dollar key that was like a blank. The mechanical key arrived and I am happy to report it works perfectly. The electronic fob functions perfectly and the mechanical key does too. What is so frustrating to me is if I did not push the issue I would be minus the mechanical key which is needed to open the car if your battery dies. In fact I was told they didn’t even see the electronic key in their system for the 2016 model. Since the part came straight from Hyundai it most definetly is available. Just in case you are wondering what this item is, it is an electronic key fob that is the size and thickness of a credit card that fits in a wallet. This eliminates you having to carry the standard key fob supplied with the car in your pocket or purse. I want to state that I am not dissatisfied with the dealership. I have purchased 3 vehicles from them and been very satisfied with the sales and service department. They do good work. And to be fair, this item I purchased I am sure is rarely seen. But I do research too and I would like to see a little more research by the parts department when an unusual item comes their way. So the bottom line is: I have my key card and mechanical key. Both function properly as programmed and ordered by the dealership. I am happy. More
