18,000mi 2019 GMC Terrain 2.0L FWD on vacation out of town with my family. 11pm at 77mph: ESC warning, flashing MIL and a moment of clatter (detonation). Pulled over, shut down for 60sec restarted drove town with my family. 11pm at 77mph: ESC warning, flashing MIL and a moment of clatter (detonation). Pulled over, shut down for 60sec restarted drove normally, no warning lights but cruise would come on but, won’t set. 7am next day at Key BUICK GMC Service Department, spoke with Service Advisor Dennis who listened and asked the right questions. Dennis acknowledged my concern about being out of town and trip interruption. Dennis stated the car would be checked out with a higher priority WAIT basis. Dennis did not over promise but, stated we should wait for the technicians check out before I took a ride back to my hotel. I noticed my SUV was in a stall within 30 min. Done within 2 hours with a bad ignition coil replaced. Textbook, well done to the service personnel at Key. More
