I was shopping for a car online and to my misfortune I came across Key Auto Mall. I called and talk to Evan Johannson to get some information on a Honda that they had for sale.Since I was a good distance came across Key Auto Mall. I called and talk to Evan Johannson to get some information on a Honda that they had for sale.Since I was a good distance away I needed to make sure I was buying a good car, so I talk to Evan about the condition of the car and specifically asked him and his detail shop to look the car over and let me know if the car had any body damage and had been repainted anywhere on the car. He assured me that if the car had any damage and or repainting that they would ship the car off to a auction and they would not be selling it on there lot.He called me back and told me that there was only a few small scratches on the rear bumper and a almost undetectable small dent that you could (BARELY NOTICE),so he sent me some pictures that where taken outside in full sunlight which I found out later by my local body shop in known to help hide inperfections and any signs of repainting. I agreed to purchase the vehicle and arranged to have the car shipped to me via car carrier.The car was delivered to me a few days later, and the driver handed me a ( BILL OF LADING) which indicated numerous damage that was noted by the driver prior to him picking the car up for shipment at Key Auto Mall, and was ackowledged and signed by the salesman Evan Johannson. I could not believe it !!!!!!...So I looked the car over and found that the roof was damaged,poorley repaired,and poorley repainted,after inspecting the rest of the car I found more damage and repainting on the drivers door,huge dents,scratches on the front and rear bumpers,one of the tires had a huge slice in the sidewall (REALLY UNSAFE) and the wiper blade was even hanging off !!!!!! I was flat out lied to about the condition of this car. I sent Randy Allison (GM) pictures of the damages, he ackowleded that it was repainted and had some overspray and offered to pay me $418.94 to repaint the roof only !!!! But not to fix anything else. I took the car to my local reputable body shop and they gave me an estimate for all the damages, and it was an astounding $4,162.35. I learned a harsh valuable lesson not to take anyones word for anything. More
