After having endured a miserable encounter at another dealership in my area, I was reluctant to begin car shopping once more. However, since I knew that my 1998 SUV was probably living on borrowed time, I decided to continue my search for a replacement. I phoned Roy Robinson and told David Jennings exactly what I was looking for and the price I could pay. He promised a call back after investigating the possibilities, and indeed did return my call within about 10 minutes to say Roy Robinson had the car and would accept my offer. My feelings of dread began to lift. So my husband and I left for the dealership immediately, and when we arrived on the lot, we were extended a friendly greeting by an employee there and introduced to David. David was as pleasant and personable as a any neighbor you could ever hope for; he knew everything about the car; he efficiently and rapidly escorted us through the inevitable paperwork; and he was attentive and reassuring while juggling at least one other sale. At the point we needed to complete financial forms, David ushered us over to Christina, also helpful, patient and engaging as we signed for the car. In about 2 hours the process was complete, including a tour by David of the facility, the car's electronics and other functions-and he provided a spot clean to make sure any evidence of shipping marks was removed! As it turned out, this car has options beyond my wish list, was immaculate and had just 7 miles on the odometer as well as a full tank of gas! I've put about 120 miles on it since I bought it Saturday and have enjoyed every minute. Also, just yesterday, 3 days after purchase, a cordial person from the service department called and we made an appointment for next week to have body side moldings and side window visors I wanted installed, at no extra charge. I didn't think it was possible to actually enjoy buying a car from a dealership, but Roy Robinson delivered. I absolutely recommend Roy Robinson when you need a car and I will return myself when it's time to buy again. Ask for David Jennings. You'll be warmly welcomed and treated with respect throughout the purchase. I confidently anticipate that continued contact with Roy Robinson will be positive. Dave Koshak was extremely knowledgeable and helped walk us through the choice between an Outback or Forester, and through deciding on which trim level and options we would work best for us. We felt the sales price on our new car and the offer for our trade-in were fair, and in-line with the research we had done. Finally, Dave spent a lot of time with us at the delivery demonstrating all of the different functions, especially all of the electronics. His knowledge and patience was exceptional. I drove out of there with a beautiful new car with no money out of pocket and a reasonable payment. And the tour of my car - amazing. Kelly, the guy that sold me the car, took me through every feature of it and even paired my phone with the "infotainment" system. And that was four hours after he was scheduled to be done for the day. Free loaner cars. Free car wash and vacuuming for life. Not sure why anyone would go anywhere else. More

Knowing my lease was up in May, I started researching early and after servicing my car at Roy Robinson in Marysville was encouraged by the service dept (Nick) to just go chat with Kelly Adams. He would be honest and low-keyed; no pressure just a great resource. Understatement of the year. Kelly has incredible rapport with customers. He is genuine and kind. He let me try a Crosstrek which I hadn't considered at all and said to return it when I was done. The instant respect and trust he had for me captured my interest in making sure I did business with him. Over a period of nearly 6 weeks, he touched base to offer his availability in fielding questions or concerns showing ongoing regard for my business without risking being a nuisance. When I finally came in to show the car to my daughter, he did the same thing and let us take it without questioning when we'd return. We returned and he'd found 3 fitting models in inventory and worked up proposals for them all. We left to think about it and his faith in our return made me inspired to complete the deal that night. Not only was he overtly joyful when we returned, he had his wife's homemade salsa to gift us. He thoroughly reviewed the intricacies of the cars operation and offered his cell for questions any time. The finance person, Christina?, was one of the most efficient and congenial professionals I've ever worked with. I've bought from Lynnwood Acura and Lexus and Dodge - all less than noteworthy experiences. This, from beginning to end, was the start of a storybook relationship with new friends at Roy Robinson. Ask for Kelly Adams and you'll end up with lovely, fitting car AND new friend. First rate!!! More
