My experience with Honda Dublin has been nothing short of a nightmare. I explained to them upfront how extremely important it was for me to purchase a car outright, without having to worry about monthly payments, as my life is already incredibly stressful due to my son’s serious medical condition. Despite this, they completely took advantage of me. They lied to me about the original car I purchased, claiming it was the “best used car on the lot” for under $14,000. That was absolute bulls**t!! The car turned out to be a complete lemon, and when I tried to resolve the issue, they refunded only $6,000 of the $13,500 I paid in cash. Then, they trapped me into financing a 2019 Honda Accord with 40,000 miles for an outrageous $33,000—pushing me into the exact situation I was trying to avoid. Their salespeople, especially Vince and his buddies, are nothing but liars who prey on vulnerable customers. I’ve reached out through multiple emails and messages left on their website, but I’ve been completely ignored. This dealership has caused me unnecessary stress and financial hardship during an already difficult time in my life. Honda Dublin doesn’t care about their customers; they only care about squeezing every last dollar out of you. If you’re considering buying a car here, run the other way. More
Shockingly Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience I recently visited this dealership to purchase a vehicle, and the experience I had was deeply concerning. After completing a test drive Experience I recently visited this dealership to purchase a vehicle, and the experience I had was deeply concerning. After completing a test drive, which went smoothly, I sat down with the salesperson, Manny, to discuss pricing. I had already received a competitive quote from another dealer, but I didn’t feel it was necessary to share that, as it was between me and the other dealership. As we continued discussing numbers, I made it clear that I didn’t think we could come to an agreement, given the significant difference in price. Instead of respectfully ending the conversation or offering a solution, Manny suddenly told me to “Go. Leave.” I was shocked by this outburst, and when I questioned him, he repeated it. I was left stunned and completely disrespected. A salesperson has no right to speak to a customer in such a manner, regardless of the negotiation process. What’s worse is that as I was leaving, he continued to show anger and disrespect toward me, even though I remained calm. It was completely uncalled for. I’m a respected machine learning engineer, and it was clear that Manny had zero respect for me or my time. This kind of behavior is not only unacceptable but damaging to the dealership’s reputation. I strongly urge anyone considering a vehicle from here to think twice and seek out dealerships that treat potential customers with respect and courtesy. If this is how they treat someone during the buying process, I can only imagine how they handle post-purchase concerns or customer service. I will make sure this experience is highlighted in every review platform possible and across social media to ensure that others are aware of the unprofessionalism displayed here. More
Hopefully the guy named "Vince" doesn't work there anymore he brings the quote 'Used Car Salesman" to reality he balantly lies just to get you to purchase a used vehicle significantly overpriced if he anymore he brings the quote 'Used Car Salesman" to reality he balantly lies just to get you to purchase a used vehicle significantly overpriced if he's in the office now he's rubbing off on the young sales men on the lot I'm sure. I made multiple calls to Dublin Honda and left voicemails for service advisors, but I never received a callback. Today, I spoke with the operator who assured me that the service advisor would reach out to me for service advisors, but I never received a callback. It's important for them to return customer calls, and I'm feeling disappointed by the lack of communication. More

My new car purchase started great. . but the service department did damage the first time they touched the car. I was told I would get a loaner car for the service when I purchased the vehicle. No. Didn't happen. They will be painting my new car that only has 600 miles on it. It only went in for service to have my accessories added. Sadly, I'm not too confident in their Service Department. They also neglected to install all the extra parts that I paid for. I will lose time from work to get this all sorted out. I went from new car joy, to unhappy boy. More
My experience at Dublin Honda was disappointing at best. I own one Honda already, and went in to purchase a second one for a family member. I expected a certain level of care and customer service. This wasn I own one Honda already, and went in to purchase a second one for a family member. I expected a certain level of care and customer service. This wasn’t achieved by Tito and Jimmy. Tito was condescending and borderline rude when it came to purchasing a 2019 Si coupe. The car as pictured online did not meet my expectations when I arrived in person, and I repeatedly had to ask for the included fix a flat kit for the vehicle. The windshield was also visibly tinted, which is illegal in my state- and I had to pay to remove the tint out of pocket elsewhere. I came in with a pre approval loan from my Credit Union, and I was pressured to try and take Honda’s loan terms by Jimmy. When I denied the offer, I was told “So you just want to throw away money then?” while the rest of my paperwork was shoved at me to finish signing. I was requested by my approval loan officer to have the documents sent via email to the credit union for faster processing, but both Tito and Jimmy were trying to pressure me to use dealer track to send documents over (this process usually takes longer to fund the loan). I hand carried the documents to my bank instead so that they could send the loan check first thing Saturday morning. I received a tracking number with signature confirmation that the check was delivered Monday 11/21/2022. That Friday (11/25), I received a call from Tito stating my check hasn’t been received and they wanted to proceed with Honda loan terms. I had to provide proof of delivery to him. This experience was not the Honda experience I expected, and have received previously from other Honda dealerships. More
The dealer's service team is one of the very careless, very inexperienced and very inexpert, with no advanced knowledge about electrical wiring and mechanic. Past experience includes scratched vehicle su very inexperienced and very inexpert, with no advanced knowledge about electrical wiring and mechanic. Past experience includes scratched vehicle surface, missing tire caps, and etc. The latest, a flying window sealing rubber. (1) On Oct 8, 2022, I picked my vehicle at Dublin Honda. After driving some distance I noticed from the mirror that the window sealing rubber flying beside the window. So I drove back immediately to Dublin Honda. I found the sealing rubber was totally torn off by the automatic car washing machine. So with anger, there was a hot quarrel between the service manager (a black man) and I. The service manager declined to repair and called in the police, saying "We are done!", "Please go!" So I left. My payment of $428+ is NOT for a bad and careless routine maintenance job like this. (2) A lot of bad past experience with Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda. The most egregious thing that happened to me is that they messed up with the electrical wiring of my Honda Odyssey 2012-2013 when they changed the cylinder for the engine, making many lights on my vehicle dashboard behave weirdly. Honda Odyssey of this particular year had a manufacturing problem with one of the engine cylinders. The manufacturer called the vehicle back to have the cylinders replaced. So I brought my vehicle to this dealer in 2021. After they changed the engine, I found I could not listen to the radio or the CD anymore because it always asked me to enter a passcode which I did not even remember. So I went back to the dealer about 6 months later. But since then many lights on the dashboard started to behave weirdly. The Check Engine Light went on and off cyclically for no reason: The light went on for an uncertain period of time like 1 or 2 weeks and then off for another uncertain period of time like 3 or 4 weeks, the Maintenance Light was on and then off before the maintenance was done, and back on again. The status of the Tire Pressure Light seems to have an influence on the status of the Check Engine Light: The Check Engine Light is more likely to be on when the Tire Pressure Light or the TPMS light is on. Sometimes a sharp turn in vehicle direction or acceleration /deceleration could trigger the Check Engine Light to be on. All these seems to me there is an electrical wiring problem with the vehicle that was introduced when they replaced the engine cylinder: either some wrong wire attached to the wrong device or wrong sensor, or there is contact failure, cut wires or short circuits somewhere. On Oct 7, 2022, I brought my vehicle to this dealer to do a diagnosis. They quickly concluded that the catalytic converter is broken and need to be changed (the price would be in thousands). Of course I had serious doubt about the conclusion of this diagnosis because: (1) it does not answer why other lights on the vehicle dashboard also goes on and off cyclically like the Check Engine Light; and (2) it also does not answer why it works sometime but does not work other time (Check Engine Light goes on and off cyclically). In my opinion, the dealer messed up with the electrical wiring when they changed the engine cylinder last year, and they just don't want to check and redo the wiring because it will take them too much time and labor to correct a huge mistake they made. In my view, the dealer can only do simple works like routine vehicle maintenance; they don't have the expertise and knowledge to do complex and advanced work: they just screwed up your vehicle. So if you have a complex job that needs expertise, avoid Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda. Even if it is a simple routine maintenance, you need pay close attention to minor things like missing tire caps, off window sealing rubbers or scratched surface. You can boast to people how nice you are, but when things go bad or poisonous and your attitude is like this, you do not deserve even 1 star, or even to be in business. More
